  1. Being even more familiar with the newspaper industry, I believe the editors of the NYT owe all of you an apology.
  2. Appreciate the outrage - perhaps the consignors did request privacy - but I think @sfcityduck is only noting the irony of Heritage burying a story that Bob devoted his life to publicizing.
  3. So, I gotta know: Did you nab this at 2:58 am Dallas time or 2:58 am Pacific time?
  4. Thread has been updated. Several books sold via PM, but the 37 is back on the table. So are a half-dozen Frazetta covers.
  5. Thanks, everyone, for your patience. Thank you, especially, @jr70, for your passion for comic magazines.
  6. I'll give you advance warning when it's time for the Vampirellas
  7. Apologies. Two copies of Creepy #1, both graded 5.5 Fine- OW and both priced at $95 Creepy 1A SOLD to Markentoth
  8. A brief pause. Some synching issues with the iPhone on there Creepy 1 photos
  9. Creepy 2. 6.5 Fine+ OW. Frank Frazetta cover, and a special appearance by Bob Lubbers. Wear at edges, but much of the gloss remains on the front cover. The back co er is rougher at the edges, especially the lower right corner and the left edge $90 SOLD to Markentoth
  10. Creepy 3 9.0 VF/NM OW. Frank Frazetta cover, and a 9.0 for the wear on the back cover and the missing gloss. Tiny crease and wear at the top right edge of the back cover. $135 SOLD to Markentoth
  11. Creepy 4. 9.0 VF/NM COW. Frank Frazetta cover. On that front cover, two minute stress lines at mid-spine and a tiny flaw at the right edge that is better seen from the inside of the page. There's also a barely perceptible crease at the lower right corner that, when seeing the interior pages, betrays a slight impact ding. Back cover has a light crease at the bottom left corner. An 8.0 recently sold for $250. This one? $175 SOLD to jr70
  12. Creepy 5. 6.5 Fine+ COW. Frank Frazetta cover. Color-breaking crease across the "Y" at the top of the co ver, a ding at the bottom right corner, spine wear, and a color-breaking crease bottom right. On the back co er, light wear and a crease in the bottom left corner. $50 SOLD via PM
  13. Creepy 6. 7.5 VF- OW. Frank Frazetta cover. Front cover: A light crease at the top right corner, light stress lines at the spine, and a faint razor-thin line across the beast's head. Back cover: A light crease top right corner, and a much more prominent crease in the bottom left corner. $60
  14. Creepy 7. 8.0 VF COW. Stunning Frank Frazetta front cover that had me hoping for a 9.0/9.2 ... but there's the ink mark on the left edge of the back cover and what looks like, perish the thought, an amateur attempt to erase it. Not much else in the way of flaws here. A 7.5 recently sold for $185, so I'm pretty solid at $120. SOLD to eyersman
  15. Creepy 8, 7.5 VF- OW/W. Gray Morrow cover. Light wear at edges, crease and discoloration back cover. $25 SOLD to jr70
  16. Creepy 9. 8.0 VF OW. Frank Frazetta cover. Stacking roll at spine. Stress lines mid-spine. Light wear bottom edge front cover, 1/2-inch tear top right corner back cover. Discoloration left edge back cover. $75
  17. Creepy 10. 8.5 VF+ OW. Frank Frazetta, and one of the greatest shades of red in comic history. Crease bottom left corner of the front cover, light wear on the ridge edge, slight loss of color in a scrape by the lower staple. Stunning anyway. $125 GONE
