I'm in the minority but I just love Ditko's ink on Kirby's pencils. Don't think he did the story art inking; Dick Ayers is a favourite, too! I believe Ditko inked the #13 story but not its cover. Gorgeous copy! Bet you'll have it forever. Thanks for all the Kirby postings!!

Here is an old guy's first attempt at a youtube comic book unboxing. These old books will be for sale or auction. I haven't decided where yet. If anyone knows of a more appropriate thread that this should be on, please move if you know how or ask me and I will figure it out. Thanks for looking. Please note error in my description of Pedigree book - it was sold to me by Ed Jaster as a Mile High but I just noticed that when it was graded it was labeled as an Ohio Please remember to click like.

Silver age comics that are heating up
Spaceguy replied to rabidwolf's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
Regarding the two cheaper CGC 4.0 Strange Tales #110's on ebay- the one has 4 address stamps and some childish artwork and the other has quite a bit of black color touch in the bottom right corner -
Amazing Spiderman Annual 1 - back cover
Spaceguy replied to UncleAnwar's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
Yup! Talk about your scarce variant especially in high grade! Wish mine was. Cost me a week's allowance to buy my first copy off the newstand that summer, boy was it worth the 25c!!! -

My Bimonthly Review of the Values of My Collection
Spaceguy replied to Math Teacher's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
GPA enters Heritage and ebay auction results very quickly. I've purchased GPA for the first time this year and was surprised to see Heritage or ebay sales listed on the GPA site a day or less after the sale. GC is much much slower. This could account for your discrepancies between the two particularly where a book has an infrequent sale. -
Return it. Hard to claim for damage by shipping in this case. Ebay's return policy is very customer friendly.

Last thing this well loved copy on Comic Connect needed was newton rings. Wonder how quality control missed them? Bidding is at $5755 with 5 hours to go ...

What Are Your Three Favorite Timelys?
Spaceguy replied to PopKulture's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I had to include the continued story but make no excuses because all are beauties, it's just that one stands out. I apologize for the glare. I used a light box but didn't want to take my gems out of their protective mylites. Had a major stroke 3 years ago so thank you for your patience. -
