  1. The 9.0 #3 is my favorite by far as well! Glad you like 'em.
  2. Okay, okay, I just posted this book in another thread, but damn I'm excited!!! Plus this is a great thread!
  3. Nice Oaklands! The Where Monsters Dwell #1 reprints TOS #10: http://www.comics.org/details.lasso?id=15734
  4. Yeah, I like Marie Severin's stuff more and more--it really grows on you. There's a lot going on in this NF 16 cover and it conveys a feeling of depth quite well. The logistics of the heat ray Hydra is using to melt through a wall, but not fry Fury or the other Hydra members cracks me up though!
  5. Finally received this in the mail...from the Bowling Green pedigree: I appreciate the cover detail more than ever after seeing this copy.
  6. I'm seriously impressed. You have more 9.6's then me also (I have 11). And you did it the hard way, one book at a time. I wouldn't mind getting a few Boston's myself as they are pretty sweet also. Thanks! Speaking of upgrading...I just got two more that I've been bidding on for a while...make that 16 9.6's, I'll keep 16 9.4's, add a Golden State book, switch a Boston (9.4 to a 9.6), and sell two 9.4's in a few days! I'll post the two new upgrades when I get them in the mail...
  7. Thanks. You know, the 6/66 stood out to me too...
  8. Thanks. Heritage...$253 w/the juice. Not too bad...only took a month or so to get it from them...
  9. White Mountain (1) Western Penn (2) Boston (7) Pacific Coast (1) Green River (1) Northland (2) Mass (1) and, yes, Mile High II (1 I'm keeping, 2 doubles I'm selling on Pedigree) I've got 32 out of 34 between 135-168 with 18 9.4's and 14 9.6's. Upgrade when I can... I love this run!
  10. My first Green River book, Strange Tales 145:
  11. Whoa!!!! Those books are sweet! Thanks again for posting these beauties.
  12. Those are probably the prettiest copies of those issues I may ever see!!! Thanks for posting the scans.
  13. Thanks! Glad you like it. It's gorgeous in person...nice centering, sharp corners, etc. No doubt in my mind with the 9.8 grade. The case is pretty badly cracked in the back though--luckily the book wasn't harmed--I'll be sending it in for a reholder soon.
  14. Here's the Bowling Green 9.8 copy of Nick Fury #9:
  15. Yep! Got it yesterday and had to test my new scanner a bit.
  16. Thanks for the adjustments! Btw, I'm waiting on a Green River copy of ST 145. I'll be sure to post it for your GR project.
  17. Thanks! As for the 9.4 grade, while the corners are very nice, they wouldn't poke your eye out, you know? There's also the lightest of color-breaking creases in the spine below the MCG logo and a little wear lower lhc. Gorgeous book though, I think. It's a tight 9.4, while the WM Thor 127 is a little on the soft side grade-wise--no less beautiful though! Adams' take on Ka-Zar on this cover is perfect with the lava vapors in the background and the name burned into the rock, not to mention the cool colors.
  18. Yeah, I like the Winnipegs w/o the name too. Although the dates on the WM's I like. Go figure. I'd also love to see more of your Strange Tales Mass run. And, since I know we share a fondness for Strange Tales (remember my PM about the 135? ), I'll post the oldest comic I own. This one's from the River City pedigree, Strange Tales #7:
  19. Nice PC copy, namis! And thanks for the welcome too fellas. I've been registered for a while, but reading posts more and more frequently. I've seen some beautiful books posted in this thread so I figured I'd contribute a little to this one... Here's another one of my fav's from the Winnipeg collection, X-Men #62:
  20. Figured I'd join in on this thread with one of my favorite Thor covers from the White Mountain pedigree:
