Summer is flying by! Labor Day is a few weeks away and right after that will be the next Comic Art Con which will be held on Saturday, September 9, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. The smaller room won't be so small anymore as we have added an additional 1000 square feet, which will allow us to offer a handful of tables to new vendors. Tables rarely turn over so if you have ever considered setting up here is your chance. Why not split a table with a fellow collector and experience what it's like to be on the other side of the table?! Also, we are looking for another artist with a Marvel / DC pedigree so if you or someone you know fits that bill please let us know. Thank you. I have already been there and although I found people with similar problems there were never any answers to them! I was hoping that I wasn't the only one here who was having this sort of problem and perhaps get a recommendation for a scanner that scans books well and works with Yosemite.

I have been using the ScanMaker i800Plus by Microtek on my PC and have always gotten nice scans. Recently I switched over to a iMac which runs 10.10 Yosemite and it is not reading my scanner even though I have to updated driver from MicroTek, (ScanPotter v1.12). I even tried VueScan and still nothing. MicroTek support and Apple haven't helped. Has anyone else here had similar problems? Can anyone recommend a scanner that works with a Mac running Yosemite? I have to hold onto my old PC just to scan my books! Thanks - Dan
