CGC doesn't even do onsite grading any more at any of the cons I've attended in the last few years, which would be my only reason to pay a premium for grading.

I'm not here to defend the store owners or stickygoose, but I've watched several of his videos and he tends to come off as a pretty big d-bag, so take what you want from that.

I’m starting to feel like Newton rings are starting to be the best outcome when receiving books back.

I'm hesitant to go through the trouble of sending it back, too.  I sent it in as a 9.8 candidate. A slabbed 9.0 is not worth an ME submission.  What I'd like is to be compensated for the damage so I can buy a replacement. @CGC Mike

I thought everything was good with my Creepshow 1 9.8 just got back today from CGC until I inspected the back where there’s a 1/4 rip and color flaking that must have happened during encapsulation. @CGC Mike anything that can be done?

I just had a regular MODERN go from received to shipped in 7 days, but my modern fast track has been with "received at CCS" for over a week now.

3 on census. Only 9.8

I got three slabs back but it doesn’t appear that they’ve been reflected in the census data. Do you need the slab numbers to update?
