  1. It took me years to find the Care Bears 25th Anniversary issue in the wild (not including dealer's walls). Literally 6 or 7 years. I still haven't found a Muppet Babies or Ewoks. Heathcliff, Peter Porker and MOTU seem to be more plentiful as I've found multiples of each.
  2. What has happened to Here's Negan Blind Box? Once a $500 raw book, it's now $200 (and not even that on the boards). Surely there are more than 500 (is that a legit number) hardcore WD fans!
  3. wins the day. All forms of payment accepted, but check/money order preferred. This is a nice copy with two small NCB ticks on the spine (which I didn't see until I got out my flashlight and a very light indention on the bottom front left corner. I have no doubt these would press out if you're into that. $200 shipped to your door!
  4. I knew it was in the early 80's when I started collecting but I thought MAYBE in the 70's, it could have been the 180.
  5. This is one of those deals that I would jump on if it was right in front of me!
  6. That's what I assumed....that it was done at a time where 180 was the more coveted book.
  7. I've NEVER seen a time (especialy in the 90's) when those two books weren't hot sellers!
  8. I have collected since 1984 and had never owned a copy until last Summer when I paid $1050 for a raw 6.0/6.5. After a press, it came back a 7.5. Amazingly, a few months later, I bought a box of 200 original owner books that had been sitting in the guy's attic for 40+ years (obviously unbagged/unboarded). Before looking through them, he told me there was some older books in there that he didn't buy off the stands but traded a Hulk issue for them years ago. I was sure that there would be no 181 in there, but while flipping the spines of the vertically stacked books, I saw it. Then an All-Star 58, then an ASM `129, then a MP 15. The guy asked for $100 for the lot and I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep that night, so I offered him all the cash I had on me, which was $400. After a press, it came back an 8.0 and the Punisher was a 6.0. Oddly enough, it was apparently the 180 that he traded away as there were 5 or so consecutive issues on either side of the 181 there. To summarize, I paid $1k+ after a 30-plus year wait and then found one a few months later for $2. TWO BUCKS! And all this happened last year!
  9. Bought a coupke of slabs (Savage Dragon 1's) and they arrived fast and well packed. Solid seller!
  10. 90 day GPA is $778. Last sale of $715 (auction format) brings that down. Asking $700 shipped. First wins. All forms of payment accepted. Returns accepted but you pay shipping back to me.
  11. Definitely not normal. It looks like all you have to do is put a high grade notation in the title and you're gold. There are plenty of BIN's cheaper and mine have been in my show boxes for two years or so at $10 with a notation that says "First Appearance of Venom. Sorta."
  12. How about some books I actually never see in the wild? I rarely come across later issues of the regular Lobo series that ended in 1999 and have NEVER pulled any from 60-64 out of $1 boxes. Deathstroke gets all the love because of the Joker 58, but I’ve found the high Deathstroke issues multiple times.
  13. ....or maybe he works for one of the other companies and is trying to sully the CGC brand.
  14. I didn't even think of the dealers! I was just thinking about unworthy pickers. If the local dealers find out about it, quality $1 box finds may be a thing of the past!
  15. Now I want to know which one I found in a 3/$1 box earlier this year. Too bad I don't know which of the 100 boxes in my garage it's located!
  16. Open to offers of cash or trades. Pretty much any slabbed keys of any age and comparable value would be considered.
  17. rules the day. No people on lists. All forms of payment accepted. No returns unless damaged in shipping. Not pressed under my ownership. Purchased from Comic Kings at HeroesCon. $350 shipped
  18. There are a ton of good books that aren't in there, ones that are much better sellers than first appearance of some obscure nobody that you have valued at $3. Also, why so many "2nd appearance of......" entries?!?
  19. The newest rumors or the ones from 2013? Same guy. Same rumor. http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/director-rob-cohen-to-take-on-90s-comic-heroine-razor-for-a-live-action-film
  20. Hence the reason I grabbed it as soon as I saw it. I have never owned a SS by Lee or Romita. To get them BOTH on this book at THAT price was simply amazing. Just pure luck that I happened across it within a couple minutes of him posting it.
  21. Fast and secure shipping of a CGC Batman Aventures 12. Easy to deal with and a great member of the boards. Thanks again!
  22. Fast, secure shipping of books at great prices. Thanks again!
  23. Solid as always. Fast, secure shipping at great prices!
