  1. Yep, we are still planning to be there! the next couple of weeks are uneventful. We have a local show this weekend that we are wondering about, and another in Amarillo the weekend after FE that we are growing skeptical will happen. The governor is not likely to issue a blanket order about anything, so conventions may have less ability to cancel than they did last year. If they're on the hook for the convention center and cannot get out of it without losing their money I think they have no choice but to have the best show they can.
  2. Will Fan Expo be running New Orleans this coming January, or will that be Wizard's last hurrah?
  3. with my one price drop for the thread. Happy to take offers via PM as well, particularly on a package deal. I will respond to PMs as soon as I am able.
  4. Shameless plug alert I have listed some JIM undercopies for sale here. I am happy to negotiate if anyone is interested, though I did the best with the prices I could given the limited info on most of these.
  5. And one raw book I have upgraded... Journey Into Mystery #49 G-/G -- asking $100 $90 shipped in the US This is the first post-implosion JIM, following 15 months after #48. This copy has nice eye appeal, but the back cover knocks it down a bit. Cover and centerfold both attached at both staples. Color and gloss are great. Two pieces missing from back cover, plus some foxing at edge of back cover. Pages are unaffected and all are complete.
  6. Journey Into Mystery #34 CGC 5.0 CR-OW -- asking $475 $435 shipped in the US
  7. Journey Into Mystery #32 CGC 5.5 CR-OW -- asking $500 $465 shipped in the US
  8. Journey Into Mystery #13 CGC 5.0 OW-W asking $525 $485 shipped in the US
  9. I've been meaning to list these undercopies for months, and am finally getting around to it. in the public thread will win over unfinished negotiation via PM. via PM is also acceptable, but in the case of a tie or near tie a sign in the thread will prevail. I am happy to negotiate via PM for single books or a package deal. I'll accept Paypal, Venmo, check, or MO for these books, if you are international it will have to be Paypal or Venmo. Shipping is included in the price in the US, international will be cost minus $10 for a trackable method. I ship USPS Priority, but if that won't work for you we can figure something out. If you're in the Dallas area I will be out there for Fan Expo and can exchange the book for cash if you aren't in a hurry. I purchased all of the slabbed books already graded, so I have no information on their past lives. Nobody on any naughty list is welcome to buy here, nor is anyone on my ignore list or anyone who has ever backed out on a deal with me. I've got a lengthy track record dealing with board sales and purchases, and have a kudos thread someplace. I think that is all the necessary fine print, but if I forgot something just remind me and I will add it. Journey Into Mystery #12 CGC 3.5 OW-W -- asking $360 $335 shipped in the US Nice looking copy for the grade.
  10. Hey @Kevin Boyd, do you have a sense of when we may see 2022 dates for these new shows? Really hoping Chicago stays over the summer and also isn't at the very end of August like it has been. When it overlaps with the opening of campus I can't make the trip. Thanks!
  11. that this Fan Expo news is good news for us fans of the show, and that the dates are good.
  12. Absolutely, it's been great to see everyone's books!
  13. Congrats! I kept an eye on those two as both would have been upgrades. I managed to get the book I was laser-focused on, and for a lot better price than I had feared it would take. Down to 8 books for #1-82 graded.
  14. Not an easy book to find in your preferred grade, to be sure. Had to pay dearly for this one but glad I did.
  15. I hadn't seen that Bautista cancelled, that does suck. I am curious to see what the next wave of creators will hold. The list is shaping up pretty nicely already.
