The musical had music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Lee Adams. Based on the comic book character Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics, the musical was first performed on Broadway in 1966 and received generally positive reviews, but it failed to catch on w/the theater-going public and closed on July 17, 1966 after 129 performances. The musical received three Tony Award nominations. What's interesting is the the play producers used Marvel Comics graphics like "Fantastic" and "Classic" that appeared on their comics. Offered here is the original program, ticket stub and ticket envelope as well as flyer insert. Some creasing and wear but VG overall. Uncommon. $75 SOLD Pocket Guide to China.   6. In looking closer at the cover at the correct angle I can see some cover gloss effect. The goggles and the gun both exhibit this. The effect is exactly the shape of these objects. There is no bleed through at all to the inner cover. Do you think this is CT or just a production issue with the ink?
