That’s all I can remember about the storyline though. Maybe Ultron was also featured?

Avengers issue (Buscema art, around issue 68 or so) featured a few lines from William Blake's "Songs of Innocence/Experience". I know it's Marvel and not DC, but it was my favorite Avengers story because of the imagery.

A huuge problem with pulps is that they are, well...

pulps.

The paper quality even at the time of printing was no rag content, high acidity. It's very difficult to find pulps from the late 30s to early 50s with decent quality paper.

For a quick, dirty, and suboptimal press, the cheap ones are fine. For anything approaching a confident and competent press, have JoeyPost do it. There is a true art to this technique, and he is a pro. By the way, this is an unsolicited recommendation.
