  1. As a fan of Mr. Trimpe and Transformers, thank you for all the effort you went through making these available.
  2. I wanted to ask. Anyone here going to TFcon Toronto this year?
  3. WHAT?!?!?! Those are a complete ghost! Yoshi is gonna flip out! Edit: He was looking for the Regen One #81 Sketch Blanks. Still might be excited though. I have about 20 of the blank Regen One #100. Even had one sketched on. Oh.... and now I see your edit. Yeah. 81 blank is the only one I'm missing in my collection.
  4. Oh wow! I'm loving the comic rack! I'm trying to hunt one down myself.
  5. That is pretty cool Thanks! I thought so too.
  6. My latest sketches just arrived in the mail. These two sketches where done by Transformers comic book artist Dan Khanna. I'm a big TESLA fan and since they been out I've wondered what a TESLA Modle S would look like as an Autobot drawn in the G1 style I got my answer. Here is Coil. I know the idea for using the name of Coil seems an easy fit. Honestly, I got the name from Grand Theft Auto V. The TESLA cars in that game are called COILs. Thought the connection to the Tesla Coil should have popped in my head first. We all remember playing DOOM right? Well with the release of the latest DOOM installment recently, I thought It would be cool to homage the orginal box art. So here you go.
  7. This is what 200 of 1000 comics looks like. TRANSFORMERS: Till All Are One TransMissions Podcast Variant. BIG Image Warning.
  8. I have a question for all you with amazing comic book rooms. Should I ever happen upon an old Comic spinner rack. Is there any advice out there on how to care for it? I mean in the sense at should it be rusty or need cleaning.
  9. We talked about this a lot on the podcast. On another topic. Would anyone know where I might find some Regeneration One Issue 81 blank covers?
  10. You can pre-order with Prime Toys currently. If you're going to either TFCon this year we'll be there with several copies. Price will be the same across the board.
  11. I'm actually writing up a blog post on this that will answer all these questions in greater detail. But for now let me give you the quick-ish answer. We have a working relationship with IDW which I think helps. We contact IDW and asked if we could actually pull this off. The short answer was yes. (the blog post will be more detailed.) We were able to pick out the arts and colorer we wanted. We personally went through about eight internal drawings before we settled on the idea of paying tribute to a Marvel cover from the 80s. After we had the idea solid between the our of us we asked IDW for permission to continue. This required getting permission from Hasbro which IDW sought for us. Once the green light was given, Alex went to work on the drawing. Once he was done we went through two processes for coloring. The first version looked just like the 80s book. It didn't look good because of the modern designs of Starscream and Windblade. So we asked that the colors be modernized as well. That's the design you see now. We have to pay the the artists and IDW. The minimum you can buy is 1000 copies. But nothing says you can't take 900 o those and turn them into mulch when you get them so you have an even rare book. Hope that helps.
  12. Now that this has been officially announced, I can talk about it. I thought you all would be interested. Transformers: Till All Are One, Issue 1, RE, TransMissions Podcast Exclusive Cover. Hi Rez Cover Image. . I hope you guys like the cover. I'm here to answer questions if there are any.
  13. Thanks. I've very happy with it. I'm looking forward to displaying it once I get into my new place.
  14. Oh yeah, for sure. I asked him if he would do that for me. Really a great guy to work with.
  15. My latest Sketch Cover by get Stephen Baskerville. It's a to Back to the Future reference.
  16. I contacted Stephen Baskerville and asked him if he would do a sketch cover for me. He agreed and asked me what I wanted. Well, I've been on an 80s movie reference kick. I have sketch covers that reference the movies, The Breakfast Club, and, Say Anything. For this sketch cover I wanted to reference Back To The Future. I asked Mr. Baskerville to use this image as his guide because I like the angle the DeLorean is shown at. For the sketch I asked Mr. Baskerville to replace the DeLorean with Sideswipe and replace Marty with Spike. Here is the amazing results...
  17. Depends on what the blank book is mostly. I mean drawing an Optimus on a Drift Blank cover might be ok for a personalized sketch, but a Drift sketch on a Drift book seems a little more logical. I would say a character or scene from the book would be best, but even some of the RI covers show a scene that has 0 to do with the book. Or your Favorite bot. The 2 Sketch MTMTE #1 1:100's I have were done by Burcham (Colorist). Tappet and Jhiaxus were the characters I got randomly, and it is only a small head picture, not a huge page spread. They had a few, but IDW sold out long ago. If I had some of the newer Sub Variants (Issue #46 for both ongoings) IDK, Tarn and Megatron might be good fits for the MTMTE cover, Fort Max was on the Artist Editions RI and would make a great sketch, and Optimus vs. Galvatron seems to be the ongoing (Formerly RID) theme. Arcee and the other new Fem-Bots would be a good one as well. We also have a new All Female Combiner showing to be a little popular. You bring a very valid point. It seems to make a lot of sense. Much more sense than I have been doing in practice. My sketch covers have all been 80s movie themes. A re-imagining of a movie poster or movie scene with G1 characters. Every time I take a request like that to an artist at a con or through the mail they sound very excited to work on it. I supposed they could be just acting nice. But it makes me happy to see that they are acting excited to do a commission like that.
  18. I know I'm much more of a G1er, but I have a question for everyone. What have you gotten drawn on your sketch covers? Or, if you haven't yet, what would you get sketched on your sketch covers. I guess I am asking for inspiration for my own sketch covers.
  19. Impressive room. Man, I would love a spinner rack!
