Im no expert, but I have never had problems selling this book for 40 sometimes 50 raw in NM in the past year or so.. Great investment book in high grade (thumbs u Totally agree. I bought my first copy just last weekend. Such a great comic

In a new interview with MTV (via ComicBook.com), the Marvel Studios head responded to a question about whether we'd see something other than "a white kid that's 15 or 16" playing Spider-Man with a vague, "Maybe. The field is very wide right now in terms of who we're looking at within a certain age range." The implication here is that while we certainly will see a teenage Peter Parker, there's no guarantee he'll be Caucasian. Feige also noted that the studio always thought the first MCU Spider-Man should be Peter Parker, but that doesn't rule out a Miles Morales showing up in the future. I think everyone is entitled to their own interpretation. I consider 180 to be the first appearance. Would I pay more for 180 than 181? Of course not.

Sorry to get all serious up in here but does CGC make a note on the label as to whether or not a copy of Harbinger #1 has the coupon? I just found a couple of 9.8 candidates out in the wild and one has the coupon and one doesn't.

Hmm interesting. I always thought that he was only in one panel but I just looked through it and he is fully identifiable in at least 4 panels on 3 pages, and a strong argument could be made that it's him on a couple of other pages. Not much thought seems to have been given to drawing him beyond the first few panels he's in so it's ambiguous. It's definitely the first published appearance but it's just a cameo, imo. If he had some dialogue I might look at it differently. But, for me, 266 is the book I like owning more and the book I would pay more to have, even if it is the second appearance from a release date pov. The annual doesn't make any sense without 266.

I bought my copy from the original owner last year. He bought all the Batman comics that featured Adams interior art and kept them bagged and boarded; unusual for the time. Will have to get it graded at some stage.

Whoa. Here is my old copy. Sold it about 12 months ago. Still miss it.

Really? 40,000 posts in 10 years = 4,000 posts a year = 11 or so posts a day. Not all that much free time required. If you just use emoticons it is easy to do 11 posts a minute.

Someone's going to be disappointed if they're expecting to recieve a Very Fine copy. Is that what you call interior foxing? What is that?
