There's no way DOWNEY is signing for $370 today.   Even if they managed to schedule him he'd be around $1,000 each sig.  I know you've got a "deposit" but it won't mean spit.

I’m still good for a sig if it ever happens. It was eye opening how much money some of the celebrities get for signing. I heard how much they paid for Margot Robbie for her first signing and how much she asks today 🤯

yeah , cuz ive done autographs 25 yrs......Bendu is a respected guru on the SW autographs scene , 40 yrs hes done SW. He called CAs bluff with their fake Fords. Bendu is very familiar with Fords graph and has supposedly lots of Fords in his collection.

I have been doing autographs for 15 years and I wouldn’t call myself an expert. You have no proof whatsoever on CA. Why do some signings take years and why do they have a card with the item the celebrity signs on a cad?

Doesnt matter , ive made up my mind......I think Bendu who has like , what , 40 yrs experience with autographs knows a thing or two. And if he gives CA thumbs down that is in my mind reason for concern. People also thought discowookie was legit in the beginning , Bondcollectibles - same thing. Mixed bag dealers are a problem , it shouldnt have to be the customers responsibility , they should buy with confidence & not be worried whether real or fake. People also praise Outlaw Hobbies but again Bendu says they sell dubious graphs. Many forgers also cry slander when their bluff is called , saying PSA & others are slandering them......I dont buy it.

Ive also seen Batman cowls insc by West so it seems he had the insc rule on those too. Fred was firm with that rule whether people believe it or not , that way West would not be the bad guy if fans were upset. Newmar prolly saw this and did this herself too. Ward didnt care about insc items but he was upset at a a con once and got into argument with Wests manager Fred over this silly rule as Ward feared hed lose revenue over this and fans skipping them - it is what it is.

Who is Bendu? So just because an auto doesn’t have an inscription they are fake? You don’t even know what your talking about

This is the problem, the company was tied to another autograph company that was shut down for fraud. So even if this is 100% real, that COA isn't worth the card stock it's printed on.

On top of that, they are notorious for never running out of autographs. The hoverboard you posted has been for sale for months. Same pictures. Same coa's. Same signature placement. Same signatures. The popular theory is this company does signings, and then uses the proof pictures over and over to sell knockoffs. For $600 that board shouldn't have lasted a day on that site, but I remember having it advertised to me while I was selling mine, and that was over a year ago.

And again, this thing is way too cheap. That's a Legacy Events t800 prop replica. They cost $600 alone. Arnold was charging $1,250.00 at his only signing last year. There is no way this is real and costs less than $2k.

Safe bet is to just stay as far away from them as possible. Try CPA authentics for legit signatures, but the selection is limited because they are real. Check out the RACC. They have a list of trusted sellers. They aren't free from criticism, but it's better than the store you're shopping at" (RACC allows simplybub and Prime Time Signatures so obviously they have problems too)

"and the main owner was caught in fraud himself so there’s that" (David from Hollywood Show did time 90s for theft movie props , 2019 arrested theft/drugs by Burbank pd , had a fake Bruce Lee costume which he by all accounts sold '13 for 100k thru spinks - wrong seams/baggy , not real snug leotard Lee wore)

discowookie (scammed lots of SW fans) and Bondcollectibles (in the very beginning legit but then around 2005 he found out theres more money in selling fakes on ebay : photos printed yrs after celebs passed away "sgd" by them , Walkens by the dozens despite Chris doesnt sign fanmail pretty much & seldom seen at premieres etc) , jackmsell sold 5k worth of fake 007 last xmas (Connery , Moore , Dalton has refused 007 for yrs and even photos......& fake Shaw certed by kingpin forger Piece of the Past)

    comment from 2022 :

"It's so weird that the CA customer service rep responded to you that way though. You may not be the customer that paid them, but they should still stand by their certifications. I can't imagine if I was going to call beckett, JSA, or PSA to check in on a certification and got that kind of a reaction from the company. Like if I lost the certification card to any one of my Beckett certified items I can absolutely call them and get a replacement even if I wasn't the person who paid for the initial certification. There is a small fee, and they recently stopped issuing the cards all together, but they would never brush me off because I didn't give them money for the initial certification like that. That's just bad business"

Nothing in your posts prove that they sell fakes. They have multiple signings with the same people

Agree to disagree , CA was former Gridiron , a company that has sold fakes and still appear to be doing so

When I met Newmar all items had to be insc , just my 2 cents

    Let the buyer beware

(Bendu : "Just like the rest of them.....they get cocky and think no one will notice" , like HS trying to sell fake Stan Lee sgd funko but redditor fakeautographs caught him red handed)

CA doesn’t sell fakes. I spent time with Joe this last Saturday and he waited over 5 hours to get John Rhys-Davis to sign all of his items
