    And you can’t imagine how impossible they made it for non-US sellers to sell on eBay.com If I wish to price a comic fairly I have to take into account: 1) Currency conversion rates (their own, really bad); 2) Shipping cost, which is already high, has to take into account that they’ll calculate fees upon it and the taxes as well 3) US Local taxes (depending on state) 4) On top of it all: the fees, which on our own local eBay sites (eBay.it, eBay.fr, eBay.de etc.) amount to a 4-6% at worst, can end up being 15-18% So in the end you have a buyer paying about a 30% more than he would have if he purchased directly from you.

    Journey into Mystery #85 First appearance of Loki, but you know that. Here’s the #85. It’s very low grade, so hard to price. I’d say in the FR to GD range, tape all along spine, original staples, cover re-attached with the tape. A very battered copy with a hole on the cover recently sold for $640. A low grade but way better than this one sold for $1200. A graded 1.8 with a large portion of the cover missing sold for $1500. Trying $880 OBO

    Journey into Mystery #87 Low grade copy with tape on the upper portion of cover, right side, whose glue darkened the cover paper, extra staple, small piece out from right side. A GD-? I’m pricing it as some similar copies which sold recently. $125

    Journey into Mystery #89 Origin of Thor. Classic cover. I see raw and graded copies have been selling for pretty strong prices. Nice copy. VG to FN, no big issues but as I have noticed now it has (very slight) color touches on the upper part of the spine, around the staple and at the top, so it falls into "Restored". I’ll leave it "ON HOLD" and research a bit to price it accordingly. *ON HOLD*
