  9. Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I ran a sale. I am selling a batch of Thor books on the behalf of an Italian friend of mine which never get into collecting the original editions in full and settled back with the Italian editions. Most of the issues are low to midgrade, I am giving indicative grades as I am not great in grading the lower ranges. Feel free to ask for back cover scans and/or questions. IMPORTANT: As many of you know, I am based in Italy. Postage costs for Registered are high, so I’ve decided to offer Priority (which has no tracking) as well, but just to people which I already know and I'm acquainted with and with the agreed upon condition that if the packages gets lost we have no means to check it. Both methods have more or less the same transit times: 12-15 days to USA/Americas or less. Please send me a message for postage costs to other locations. Shipping costs are as follows: Registered: $20 up to 350g (1-2 comic books, or the equivalent) $29 up to 1kg. Priority (not trackable): $16 up to 350g (1-2 comic books, or the equivalent) $20 up to 1kg For heavier packages we may consider an Express Courrier which will be cheaper than Poste Italiane. Being a third-party sale I can’t give much discount, but feel free to send me an offer for multiple books purchases. You can find my kudos thread here. Rules: The first (icon or text) in thread wins. You can purchase by PM but at your own risk – I will go by time stamp. Payment methods accepted: Paypal. Please no people on the HoS or Probation list. Return policy: I generally do not offer returns as it would be impractical cost-wise from here, but in the unfortunate case I missed something drastic (like a cut out page or ad) we can see how to solve the problem. Thanks for looking!
  10. I am offering this original artby Rudy Nebres, from Dr. Strange, featuring Clea. Page is signed by Nebres at the bottom. I also include an original stat/comp page for the French edition of the story (small size, about comic book size), which had to be adapted to pocket size and thus panels were re-mounted and artwork added. Very nice and cool piece of Marvel publishing abroad. Pages of this range of issues featuring Dr. Strange sold in recent years in the $1300-2500 range. This one is nice but basically features Clea alone so I am asking $1650 1350 shipped OBO.
  11. Thank you so much (for your patience with my "times" as well)…
  12. That is precisely the issue that I have with a good deal of people buying in the threads. How much time has passed? A month? If a person is selling out of personal problems and/or difficutlties, it’s not necessarily that these are only monetary. He/she could have been going through difficult times, and could have not been able to give a timely response even if he/she had already received payments. True, it has often been said «it takes little to reply to messages», but there are circumstances in which you are not abel to do that, I do not know Mr. Hog personally, but this attitude which makes people assume that someone is dishonest just because he/she does not reply to messages in a week or so, is really NOT great.
  13. I love this goal. And I wish it could be that simple for me!
  14. And I can’t see where the basis of a comparision between a variant cover and a commercial insert is: they are entirely different things, variant exists just to create collecting interest, which surely was not the goal of Marvel when they accepted to run the jewelers' advertising…
  15. BTW, to me a book beyond 9.4 (Near Mint) is always a Near Mint, no matter if it is a 9.6, a 9.8 or whatever. The defects are negligible, for what I care, as I have had books graded but I always eventually break them out to have them browsable/readable. The few I did not was because they were Signature Series, and I regret having bought them, as they are costly books (FF #5 and #12). In fact, if I could sell them and buy non SS copies, I’d be very glad!
  16. As I have explained, I do not reason in terms of "CGC copies" (besides the fact that being registered in the census they can be checked for information): to me they are copies like all others, just professionally graded, useful especially if you do not trust a seller grading skills or think you maybe want to sell the book. As far as the variants go, I might enjoy if there were few, when there were few, so if the original cover was so-so I could opt for the variant. But what they have become is what I call "artificial rarity": not interested at all in this.
