I've been out of the game for a few years and randomly saw this book is actually valuable now. I have 2 copies I cant find flaws in other than the fact the spine has some white because these were at the bottom of a stack i'd guess but I've not seen many modern book that don't have that. You cant really see the spine in a scan. Does that affect grade?

Man I can't stand the closes mindedness of people not giving this movie a chance and it not doing great at the box office...

When ya put it that way..... I did like GOTG a lot because I expected nothing. People find it hilarious because it set up jokes you couldn't miss like some crapy sitcom. Antman had way more subtle humor. Me and my GF laughed way way more than the other 40 people there. Not a peep form the baskin robbins part for instance. I feel like such a hipster talking like indy music is to complex to be fully understood by us simpletons but that fact of the matter is most people are dumb. They want their jokes served up on a platter for them. The 4 pints we brought in may have helped....

I really liked it it. Top 3 marvel movie for me. I think the people that normally dislike marvel movies will like this one. 3d Imax was so worth it.

I'm glad you brought up their crappyness. I was pissed when I got my books after a month also. And I had 3 different "free when you order $x amount" books on my my order invoice. We'll they just marked out 2 of them on the invoice I received. I called and they when they picked up and their barely audible cell phone they said "oh you can only pick one" well that would been nice to know before I got the one I wanted least. 3 were on the invoice paid for one wad sent. No offer to send the one I wanted. He said they'd give me one with my next order.. yeah I don't ever wanna order from you again.

Yeah this whole period of Marvel confuses me to no end. The Spider-Gwen series was new and at issue #5 when it stopped and now the headlines are Spider-Gwen in a new series. It already was a new series. This is just a #1 money grab IMO. 20+ variants the first time around. Whats the over/under for the new #1? 50 And I'm sure you'll be plugging your Phantom Variant in 3...2...1... I was just looking at how many phantom ASM 300 versions there and this clip came to mind.

Is there a good statue run being made in the $50 area? I can't afford all these nice ones . I'm collecting the little lead eaglemoss ones but for the hero's I really like I like to splurge a little.

Cool story! And a very good looking book. Really bright! When I show off my books to friends or family I can see the appreciate most everything but no one seems to care much for the preheros unless I give them a real quick history lesson . It's hard to do with out jamming it down their throat. I've ran into guys buying up variants at shops who had never even heard of them.... or jack kirby. I do love them...
