  1. Hello, thank you for your message. Right now, imaging is taking approximately an additional 10 business days. If you don't receive the images by the end of this week, please reach out to our customer service department and we can check with imaging. You can reach us at 877-662-6642 or by email at submissions@cgccomics.com. Thank you!
  2. Hello, I checked the tracking number and that was received in our office. If this was submitted just with a creator agreement and no form, then our Signature Series department will reach out to you to obtain the necessary information. You can email them at: signatureseries@cgccomics.com and they can let you know exactly what information they need. Thanks!
  3. Hi, you can contact our customer service department and provide them with your name and information as well as the names of the facilitators and we can then check those dealers' accounts to see if we can locate your orders and provide an update. You can call us at 877-662-6642 or email us at submissions@cgccomics.com. Thank you!
  4. Good morning, Thank you for your message. This invoice is completed but it looks like it came in from our London office. Due to Customs regulations, when a package comes to us from one of our international offices, ever submission that came in together in one box must then be shipped back together in one box back to that office. So, it can cause a delay if we are waiting for other invoices to finish up. We will get this shipped out to the London office as soon as possible. Thank you!
  5. Good morning, Thank you for your message. I did check that order and it does appear it somehow missed pressing. I'll have them pull the order and get that back over to CCS ASAP. I am sorry for the inconvenience! Thank you,
  6. Just an FYI sometimes the USPS tracking updates are really slow to show up on their website. I would always double check the tracking number on our site as well because we scan the package as soon as they deliver it and that will be updated immediately on our website once we scan it in. You won't see it on your account until we get to that day's mail but at least you will know it was delivered. Thanks!
  7. Thank you for that information. I'll check with Maria and see if she can provide you with an update on that. Thank you!
  8. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Everything submitted to us at Megacon has been logged in so you should be able to see any orders on your account. Did you submit them directly to CGC or did you use a facilitator? If you submitted through a facilitator instead of through CGC directly then it could be that the submission was sent in under the facilitator's dealer number and not your own account number. If that is the case, then the order will not show up under your account. If you have a submission number or order number, we can check that for you. Thank you!
  9. Good morning, Thank you for your message. In most cases, signed books can be pressed without a problem. If you have a book that has a Signature Series label, it can be pressed but in order to keep the Signature Series label it would have to be sent in still sealed inside the CGC holder and we would crack it out here. You can find out more about our pressing process here: CCS Pressing | CGC (cgccomics.com) Thank you!
  10. Hi, we do try to send those back to the customer but, unfortunately, the certificate can sometimes become separated from the book during the grading process. If that happens then there is virtually no way to match them back up again later with the volume of books that are working their way through the process. Since we can't guarantee the certificate will get sent back to the customer we recommend not sending in original copies of any items that customers might want back. Thank you!
  11. Good morning, Thank you for your message. I am sorry to hear about that! Do you have the name of the person that has been assisting you so I can go back to them and see if they have an update? Also, did they send you the instructions and shipping label to send back the book the book? Thank you,
  12. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Sometimes the USPS tracking is a little slow to update on their website. But you can also check the tracking number on the CGC website to see if the package has been delivered. According to our website, this package is here. We are currently opening mail from around 5-23 so it might be a few days until you see it logged in, but you will receive an email once it is in the system. Thank you!
  13. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, changes cannot be made to an order once it is submitted. You would not be able to add any custom labels to orders already in process. You would have to submit them for a reholder at a later date to have the custom labels added on any books that are here now. I am sorry we cannot accommodate your request. Thank you!
  14. Hello, if you submitted a book for a regrade that was already in a CGC holder, yes, we would have to regrade it based on the current condition of the book. CGC grades are not guaranteed so once that book is removed from the CGC holder, it is possible for the grade to change. Thank you!
  15. You or the artist can reach out to our signature series department to obtain the appropriate paperwork. You can reach them at: signatureseries@cgccomics.com. Thank you!
  16. Hello, the artist would need to be set up first and we would have to send them the creator agreement. That cannot be done through the customer but through the artist directly. Thank you!
  17. Hello, thank you for your message. The grade assigned to the book should not change, unless any damage occurred post-encapsulation, in which case the grade will be adjusted accordingly. To qualify, the book must still be encapsulated in its original CGC holder. Thank you!
  18. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Generally, Magazines and magazine sized books do tend to take longer than regular comics due to the size of the book. They require a larger holder than the regular comic sized holder and since we don't grade as many magazines as we do comics, we have fewer encapsulation machines that can accommodate those larger sized holders. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
  19. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Please contact our customer service department and someone can check into that for you. You can reach us by phone at 877-662-6642 or email at submissions@cgccomics.com. If you were overcharged, we can either credit the difference back to your credit card or put it as a credit on your CGC account, whichever you prefer. Thank you!
  20. Good morning, Thank you for your message. If the signing is not witnessed by an authorized CGC witness and directly submitted for grading, then the signature cannot be authenticated for Signature Series. Testimonials, photographs, video recordings, certificates of authenticity and any other proof of signing are not accepted. Any items that have already been signed would not qualify for Signature Series label. In most cases they would receive a green Qualified label. This allows the graders to ignore the signature for grading purposes and the book is not downgraded for the writing. Label Description | CGC (cgccomics.com) Generally, at or below a 6.0 the writing/signature on the cover no longer has a significant impact on the grade and our graders may feel it is not necessary to qualify the grade. They will factor the signature into grade and the book would receive a Universal (blue) label with the same notation of name on cover in marker. Please do not send in COAs but retain them for your records as they are not needed for grading and may not be returned to you. More information on our Signature Series Program can be found at: https://www.cgccomics.com/signature-series/ Thank you!
  21. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, since this book was graded back in 2021, it wouldn't qualify as a Mechanical error. Any issues with the book or holder must be reported within two weeks of receiving the item back from us. Pressing should be able to help with issues like a spine roll. But as this was graded a year ago, you would have to pay for those services as well as a regrade in this case. You can find more information here: CCS Pressing | CGC (cgccomics.com) Thank you!
  22. Good morning, Thank you for your message. The Jim Starlin signing has not taken place yet. We don't have a set date for that yet but it should be coming up soon. The cut off date was 4-15-22 and we do remove the information from our events page after the cut off for any signing. The actual signing date can be anywhere from a few weeks to even months from the cut off date. We have to leave enough time from the cut off date to get all submissions opened and entered for that signing. The actual date will also depend on the artist's schedule as well. We do appreciate your patience on these as we know it can be frustrating to wait for a signing. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you!
  23. Hello, thank you for your message. Unfortunately, our graders could have to examine the book before we can make any determinations about it. However, the information below might provide some insight into how we handle manufacturing errors: When a book is manufactured in such a way that it is missing some component that it was supposed to have, we designate it as a "MANUFACTURING ERROR", assign it a Green Qualified label, and state in the label text exactly what it is being Qualified for. For instance: "MANUFACTURED WITHOUT HOLOGRAM ATTACHED TO COVER", or "MANUFACTURED WITHOUT BLACK INK ON COVER". These are the type of errors that usually affect an extremely small amount of the print run. There are some comics where a substantial amount of the print run was affected by some error, where the number of errors released number in the hundreds, or even thousands. CGC will actually assign the error as its own "Variant Name", so to speak, and treat the book essentially as if was intended to be printed that way, complete with a Blue Universal label (although the Key Comment on the label will still explain what the error is). The error book at that point has, for lack of a better term, graduated into being its very own variant, based purely on the sheer number of copies that were released. Thank you!
  24. Good morning, Thank you for your message. I think you might be confusing two different things. When you first sign up for a brand new membership, you receive a coupon code for a free shipping kit. The shipping kit just provides you with packing materials you can use to ship your books to us. The Packing slip is something separate that you create yourself when you complete the online submission form to submit your books. Once you have selected your services, added your books, etc. you will be able to print the packing slip and this is what you will include in the box with your books. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
  25. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Yes, we have removed that from the website for the time being since we are pretty much caught up on opening mail at this point. We are within about a week or so for all of our companies so they did make the decision to remove that from the websites for now. Thank you!
