  1. My cart was showing -14 items... so every time I tried to add, it was increasing that number but showed I had 0 items in the cart
  2. Wow that was so annoying for me. I was all prepped and never even had a chance. It never appeared on the page for me and now both are sold out.
  3. Wow, how is it possible it sold out that fast - It never even appeared on the page for me
  4. That URL shows me a message that it's not currently available
  5. I liked the movie. Only 2 parts I didn't like: 1) Psylocke - maybe just too hyped up, not sure. Can't put my finger on it but it felt like she was supposed to be a big deal and it didn't really work for me. 2) Didn't love the extremely specific Biblical references used by Apocalypse. Quoting/invoking the Bible to reinforce a "God complex" always feels like it cheapens the characters and is just bad writing - felt out of place in a super hero movie. Made Apocalypse seem like he was possessed by a demon rather than an uber powerful ancient mutant. Thought the action was great. I'll see it again when it comes out on BluRay.
  6. And JL is shooting right now - I had the same question. How long until we see an impact? Or, does this make the near future worse because now they're trying to change the vision DURING the shooting of the next major movie so it's going to be a creative disaster until JL2?
  7. Yeah, gotta be honest, Steppenwolf doesn't do anything for me and I'm a big DC fan. Bit of a let down if it's true, but we'll see. I'm still holding on to hope it can become great!
  8. Are those pages on his site marked as sold? That would be a good move so he doesn't keep getting bugged by fans over the availability. No, it appears he just takes them down when they're sold
  9. Capullo has been moving pieces though - the available list is down to 32 which means about 10 have sold - and not all his cheapest pages either.
  10. That comes down to preference. There are a number of artists who do this sort of "1 of 1" print runs when their work is digital. At this point it's generally not as valued as highly as traditionally non-digital work. That said, more of the industry is certainly headed in that direction so who knows what the future will hold. It seems unlikely that everything goes 100% digital, but if a "1 of 1" is as close as you can get to an "original" it's a personal preference whether it's worth the asking price.
  11. There hasn't been a "normal" - this last week was the first time the broad market had a chance at really any of his work. People have gotten limited work in the past, but he's kept nearly all of it unavailable until the last 7 days with a few limited exceptions, the biggest of which I believe was last fall at a con.
  12. I think you made some excellent points - the best of which is the first above - Capullo being such a great fan engager. So often successful people become less approachable (see the mixed reviews of Adams and guys like Liefeld). Both Lee and Capullo have a similar demenor when it comes to this and I think it's really added to their fame and success - so good with the fans. If Capullo was a jerk, I'd like him MUCH less. The fact that he's a cool guy makes me really like his work a lot more - he's a great fan artist. ... On this point though - Capullo being a "far superior artist" : Let's keep the enthusiasm in check haha. Jim Lee is in the conversation for the best artist of his generation. No disrespect to Mr Capullo at all, but nobody in the business is "far superior" to Mr. Lee - at best it's a discussion on what kind of line style you enjoy more (which I think is what you were trying to say).
  13. yes, I believe you are getting two pages - the inks and pencils - unless you are getting the pencil only haunt pages. I asked about this - it's only Capullo's work with Glapion where the pencils/inks are separate. Everything Batman on the site right now is the second half of the run where inks were Danny Miki - original inks over original pencils - 1 piece.
  14. May I ask which one? Issue 24 P. 33 Issue #24 P. 39 was my favorite page but way too much for me at $11.5k Nice - sorry you didn't get it - that is a beautiful page - love the red hood too.
  15. I don't have any problem with his pricing - most of it is way over my head, but if he's got attachment to his own work, it's clear he's not just trying to screw people over. People will buy it if they think it's worth it, and leave it if it's not and it sounds like he is perfectly ok either way. I'd rather have someone charge a lot for the art and then be cool with fans (which my experience with him is) than charge for autos and be offputting like some of the other famous artists.
  16. I have to say I think I'm pretty gracious when it comes to casting - and I can't agree more. Going to try and keep an open mind, but the few shots we got - he looks terrible - like a teenager who can't grow a beard yet but REALLY wants to.
  17. While not a great scenario. Their stock is at the same price it was a year ago. Not exactly the apocalypse. Time to buy! That's what I was thinking - it's actually been doing ok for a while
