  1. Or it could come with a blueprint with step by step instructions on how to build a King Kong sized fire pit as a freebie.
  2. I can't comment on Columbus, but I believe the Oktoberfest in Cincinnati is one of the largest in the world. I've been down there the past few years and it's not quite the drunken rage of St Patrick's in Cleveland but the streets are packed and a portion of the city is closed down to facilitate. I doubt it helps with con attendance though - I was just trying to speculate as to why some insufficiently_thoughtful_person would think that date would work well for Cleveland
  3. Whoever decided this should occur over St Patrick's Day weekend should be shot. Repeatedly. I'll probably wander down there Saturday to check it out but I'm not sure what it will do to attendance. On the other hand, the Cincinnati Con often overlaps with the Oktoberfest down there so maybe this was deliberate?
  4. I'll give it a shot! I lost to the eventual winner last year in the Sweet 16 round for our side
  5. Maybe the internet connection out there is really terrible?
  6. With a name like Hitmonchan1 perhaps he was traveling the world playing Pokémon Go? Hopefully you're made whole!
  7. Thank you for the update. +1 for a full recovery!
  8. #2&3 in a sales thread means I close the sales thread. Until the buyer (myself in this situation but I'd feel the same way if I were the seller) is satisfied, ideally by receiving their merchandise but by refund or some other agreed upon method as needed, the seller needs to play an active role in ensuring the transaction is completed. No returns for any reason is a crock. I understand that Ebay basically forces returns so it's probably in response to that but you have to allow for some returns or you're being unreasonable.
  9. Free Advertising, Same reason why when you buy a car, the dealership puts their name decals on the back of your car I won't purchase a car from a dealership until they remove the sticker or badge (if it's a license plate frame I can handle removing it myself) as if I'm happy with the service I'll tell people. I'm not buying something from them to be a mobile billboard. As for the C-Link stickers, WD-40 is a pretty solid adhesive remover and it shouldn't harm the case plastic.
  10. I'm still watching, but it doesn't feel as exciting. Maybe I'm just burned out but I don't look forward to it each week as much as I used to.
  11. maybe he works the " Graveyard Shift " Or maybe he has a side business building excessively large fire pits?
  12. I wonder if I've been offensive or opinionated enough to land on anyone's ignore
  13. Most office copiers will send the scanned attachment in a file format of your choosing. I'd do some poking through the send settings (or the like) and try to find an option to send as a .jpg instead of a .pdf. Most are set to PDF by default as document scanning is the primary business use but I have yet to see one that wouldn't send as an image file with a little tweaking.
