I completely understand the vote to put me on the HOS, I do not argue in fact I plead guilty to my crimes. My only question being, am I here forth banned from partaking in discussions on the board,,or simply banned from the commerce side of things. Further more am I allowed to purchase from other members, or not. I wouldn't be opposed to an outright ban either if there is such a thing. And no I'm not looking for sympathy here. I need to figure out some mess in my life.

So just to be clear my HoS nomination hinges on me using the wrong picture in my thread for HFH1? Not arguing, I was in the wrong, but is this truly worthy of me not being able to partake in this board anymore. I've made plenty of legit sales to happy customers. Sure I've rubbed many the wrong way, but I've done my best to right my wrongs, and will continue to strive to be better. If the poll is a landslide and everyone wants me gone, I'll leave no problem. But otherwise is it that bad for me to sell books at good prices to those who are interested, and those who despise me can just ignore me? I've never once cheated anyone out of money, I'm the first to refund if the customer doesn't like the product. I've even offered on many occasions to ship books without payment, and after the buyer judges that they like the slab they can pay at their own leisure. Anyways that's my spiel. Don't know what else I can say. I'm sorry for uploading the wrong image of a book with a different page quality, I have many saved images only desktop and I simply made a horrible mistake. Lets remember no one bought the book.

Man the quality of this book is amazing. The paper and cover stock is unreal. Way to go 215 ink!

If you feel this way, then you don't have to wait for poll results to say so, just take it upon yourself to show us that you are sincere in your intention to take responsibility for your failures and punish yourself by leaving. That's the plan once my final sales reach the buyers.

I don't dispute anything Harvey brought up. I'm ashamed of my actions and deserve whatever punishment is deemed fit. My only point of contention is with one exception I have gotten all buyers their books as promised in a timely matter. My ethics in advertising and selling were disputable however. There's no need for a poll after I ship the last of these orders I'll be leaving the board fr good I do deeply appologize. You are a great community that I don't deserve to partake in.

In my defense I only had my iPhone to take a picture. I spent time looking for the exact same grade and page rating of HFH1. I should not have done this, and I realize it is a major infraction. I have not made any profit from this sale, and I am offering anyone interested in the book the opportunity to have it shipped to them free of charge. They can pay only once they are satisfied with the book. If for some reason they are not they can send it back to me and I'll cover shipping. I leave my fate up to you guys, this was a major lapse of judgement, but no vicious intent was intended.

and let me re-iterate i don't have any gripes being on PL i deserve that. but calling for me to be placed on HoS due to this transgression, i do think is a bit much.

Just to further my point about trying to make things right with him and then him going ghost. HIs last post was to comment about the situation in my kudos forum. But In this one scenario, I really did try to make things right. You guys have no reason to believe me, but I am trying to turn things around here. If you could give me a chance to prove myself, I'd appreciate it. But fully understand if you can't.

i don't meant this to come of the wrong way at all, but how do you suggest i clear my name. i am trying to do a number of smaller sales, in which i am willing to send out books without any payment, to new users none the less. and only once they are satisfied will i ask for payment. in fact if they decide they don't want to the book back, i'll pay for the shipment back, no hard feelings. i KNOW, believe I know i up in the past. and i expect no forgiveness from the lot of you. but in terms of people looking for books, I think i'm giving them a great deal. not just price wise, but in terms of literally no risk at all on their behalf. i have tried to apologize to several that i have wronged in the past to mixed results. i am trying here, i hope you can see that. if not to each his own. and if you guys really want me gone, or furthermore what exactly should i be doing differently? that doesn't include writing the past, which would if i could.

I'm sure you could find a way to make them look valuable, even if they turn out not to be. Seriously, do you have any idea what a fool you make yourself appear? You constantly talk about stepping back from selling (and in fact stepping back from the boards generally) and then follow it up with this sort of guff. stepping away from selling on the boards. and also i think my post has merit for others, its definitely food for thought. if defects are being seen across the run, and not in the variants. i know you don't like me, that's fine mate you've made it clear, there's no need to mar every thread i'm in. i think my reputation's got enough dirt on it without you digging it up and derailing every thread i post in.

Hmmm if CGC does in fact nick books for this defect, I imagine that's going to make the variants that much more valuable. Might be time to pick up a few...

All copies I got were free of the defect (I'm in Georgia). I'm thinking its a regional thing as someone earlier mentioned. Where are the defects coming from state wise?

John's an absolute great guy, despite my recent problems on the board he decided to deal with me anyways. We conducted a trade of some key books, and it went off without a hitch. Not only were his comms great, he was understanding of the situation throughout and gave me the benefit of the doubt, as well as some absolutely amazing books. I'd deal with John again in a heartbeat.
