Australian stuff. It was this, or more Porn. And I'm fed up with listing Porn. The comic market is so slow atm - the class of 2019 - 2022 aren't ready to sell at a big loss yet it seems. -
Garth Ennis's 'The Boys' the next Ennis series for TV!?
Beige replied to Mr 9.8's topic in The Movie Forum
I keep saying it - but nothing can happen until - like in the comics - the entire group is permanently juiced up. There's no way around it. Homelander kills them all with a soft fart. They need V to fight the supes. If they don't do that soon, they will paint themselves into a corner which they can't get out of. They need to up the bad language and frequent sex scenes the comic was famous for. Herogasm was so tame it became pointless. In the comics Wee Hughie infiltrates a supes mansion - without juice for the whole team, that arc just doesn't get done (not to mention the sex scenes) - the book doesn't work without them, neither would the show. The Russian arc was unrecognisable - and seeing as it was essential to the comic, I don't know why they changed it so far away from the original. For those who haven't read it - do so! -

Absolute rookie here. Just slowly getting some SS books - I've tried to get the actors (I only go for actor sigs) on the 1st apps (full or cameo depending on cover) Thanks to Tristan Pence for his hard work. I think one of these was bought on the boards, and the other via Rich Henn many years ago. Danny Trejo (did the cover testimonial to Todd #1) published in 2013 - I couldn't find anything older. Don Cheadle - 1st FULL War Machine ( I know there was an earlier IM issue - the cover just worked) David Morrissey as The Governor Lance Henriksen as Bishop (Aliens) William Shatner (bought from Tristan) It's a start!

When Jason Aaron wrote 'Scalped' I thought the was going to be an real innovator of storylines moving forward. It's so sad he has now become just another Marvel drone, towing the 'safe' lines. It would be brilliant if Marvel sold the IP for Frank Castle / Punisher to another company. Jon Berthnal got this character spot on in the TV show, and rekindled interest in old fans, and gained new ones. With Frank teaming up with DD in the new series - what's the point of dumping Frank now? It's comics for goodness sake, not the real world - if peeps don't like it, they won't buy it. I have COVID so sorry if this post makes no sense.

Moderns that are heating up on ebay!

Power Hour?? Why are people paying stupid money for essentially CGI generated bad porn covers? They are everywhere - I don't get it. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/134595558988?hash=item1f56853e4c:g:~FEAAOSwmrtkeXv5&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwCsDW59F6092UuMm5vnUwr%2FWlmBqc2lexDdBETM%2B9cI8tJwFjt0v%2FMnkhBZzByTwtRksS6BO8bEvOYuC1F9seCUSVYtnhwOuPCdzpYBiqvIVzxZLfCZaJF3Vfll3xnAOzp2HpcZI3LNLAs0%2BQxvFK2d2E8ctoonl0nA%2B0NE3yzFRflGCTcvgu7O4XdgSc6IJLWFXE3IaWtE9MSp8J1sxLCS12wr8vCPUOgm%2F04hvEgOFt%2BdwmE5yn%2BikIFkotMLVDg%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6KaxPGPYg etc etc Plus 'Bear Babes' Seriously?? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bear-Babes-Ahsoka-Tano-Full-N-Variant-E-69-99-Cosplay-Star-Wars-/285303237625?hash=item426d65ebf9%3Ag%3AO3MAAOSwQUhkcUB-&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwEH4Q0lSUSBbOZygxW%2BdObRaQgdlYv9x6mOiVIX2oABwcdY%2FpN9hsOeZ1cVMlmAw3w5r5EJycdgiw%2FE66%2Bit4kYq7iaz%2Fn%2FLM497q%2ByS9s0N9tf3%2FtTtbz3Rfp%2B5lDfxDelPuyiEBYgJlXNrdiLz2JId4Z1OmAhia%2FjpiXSZ8fa7QYMdP1KrmYE385u5ddTyKzs3%2FQ2gtP5jytLI6sD7iVU3TbSWQ92%2FZUfSq1N2af2Ho7W%2FJMj%2FLsbgicugBCwIdA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR_7w0PGPYg&nma=true&si=wjA4ckngv1jSyOKg%2BuaZmZvZLFU%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bear-Babes-1-Preview-April-O-039-Neil-TMNT-Cosplay-Cover-F-52-99-NM-see-description-/314614137614?hash=item494076c30e%3Ag%3AgDYAAOSwEt5kcVSp&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwFYwYQON1LC9cdN3Zq57DYUlO41vjIlzFTl2uAGaInUhzLLkvw6PTWEUrBW7V8aM6LRxzaXf0P0dykyySp6NSBlFPvNagNEgEcxdL1XfISjloOeGu%2FwDebR%2BlpxCIN3xSIsE%2FA0Eqn7cUeAExUb3nyTmTIhC%2BaIZXFUaFn3Nu62%2Ff90b4QjK%2Fdbc3j2Lea7Ue8SljwjyWQhOhDwT9SHK7frJ7aIV%2FjI4zhpmNXVEZ1ceFciUwln0DZ3oK7Z%2FvusaTw%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR_7w0PGPYg&nma=true&si=wjA4ckngv1jSyOKg%2BuaZmZvZLFU%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Pornhub closed this week or something? Lot of 1st apps of Aliens (The Movie) characters. Very popular franchise. I can see the appeal in a 9.8 for fans (I most certainly am one myself) but $7500 is insanity. -

ANT-MAN & THE WASP QUANTUMANIA directed by Peyton Reed (2023)
Beige replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
Just watched it. This was awful - poor mans Star Wars, with Extra-big Ant-Man committing genocide in a mass killing spree of the Clone army, aided and abetted by an extra-big teenager. Saved by the Wasp who now looks older than her mother, Ant-Man goes toe-to-toe with the worst baddie in the known universe, gets his arse handed to him, and walks away through 'drum roll' the super-smart teens portal. End credits were dreadful - Kangs here, there and everywhere, and I could not care less. Huddlestone and Wilson appearing made zero sense to the 99.7% of the world who didn't watch Loki. Newsflash - they won't either, if the only reason is to see a follow-up to the most stupid, boring and lazy Marvel movie yet. 'The Marvels' looks like 'The Shawshank Redemption' compared to this absolute bucket of puke. 0/10 Oh FFS - MODOK.... -1 / 10- 1,060 replies

Yeah, that's why I asked the question - There's Affleck and Keaton, but on IMDB they are VERY light on actors, which I find odd for such a 'blockbuster' movie. Saying that Nic Cage is credited so if there is a new Batman, they have kept it off IMBD. Be interesting to find out what these 'major surprises' are that WB / DC have tucked away.

As it's a multiverse thingy - will this lead to a brand new Batman or is it Pattinson moving forward? I ask as there are articles saying the pre-screenings were leaving chunks of the movie out. Anyone seen the whole movie (not the 'redacted' prescreener) Thanks

Seller sold an incomplete book to me - How would you respond?
Beige replied to O Doyle Rules's topic in Comics General
Jesus. Take some responsibility. If you had counted the pages, we would not be here. At best you are 50% to blame. At worst 100%. Who doesn't check a book before they send it to CGC? Serious question - why would you NOT check for an internal tear, a missing ad or a stain? And now you are trying to get the seller banned from Ebay when you both share blame. There one person going on 'lists' and it ain't the seller. Stop the whining, take your medicine and move on. -

If they are doing VHS, maybe finally they can grade and protect (slab) my 1927 1st app of Felix The Cat. @CGC Mike is this now an option? -
I was very surprised to read that some of the cast actually fully strip. The intellectual rights negotiations must have been interesting!
