  1. (Item ID: 163781709404) - Ebay Photos are on Ebay. TRUE John Byrne CGC SS – 9.6 Next Men #21 - one of only 108 comics ever CGC Signature Signed signed by him prior to him swearing to never participate in CGC again. Also signed by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola (Also CGC SS!) This is one of the 108 CGC SS signatures that John Byrne did on 28 November 2004 at Paradise Comics in Toronto. It also has a great Mike Mignola SS signature from 25 February 2007 (I believe from the 2007 New York Comic Con). As many of you know, Mr. John Byrne does not agree with CGC, and this comic comes from his (to my knowledge) only sanctioned CGC or CGC SS sitting. This really is my crown jewel, I hope the winner enjoys it. I am transferring duty stations, and unfortunately need to let go of my close collection to support some family stuff, please take a look. This guy has lived in (during my ownership) Idaho, San Diego, Washington, Hawaii, Japan, and currently DC.
  2. Hello, Are there still any of those 108 John Byrne Yellow labels still floating around out in the world? V/R, Andrew
  3. I just saw that comic and almost bid/bought it, but now can't see where I was looking at it. Nice score.
  4. I actually got back into collecting a couple of years ago, and I started with going after the first Hellboys. Just to make sure no one could argue I picked up this (About $115 if I remember on ebay), a Dime Press #4 for about $150ish (EBay also, it is about a an 8, a misfire in my opinion.), and my wife scored me a near mint SDCC #2 off of Craigslist for $20(!). I am waiting on my first 4 coupon books to return now before I send my next lot. I sent my Silver Age stuff first. My next submission will be the Dime Press, the SDCC #2, and a Avatar Goon #1. The only thing is that my Next Men #21 showed up in the mail shattered on the bottom edge, and it took me until now to get it fixed. I am very happy.
  5. http://i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag128/Andrewsexton22/image_zpsa6f17e4b.jpg Just returned from Reholder. I accidentally posted this in another forum.....
  6. Are the "15 day standard coupons" the same thing that you get when you sign up? If not, what are the "Thanks for joining" coupons equal to? Also, I submitted a comic for "Reholder," and is past the ten day mark and still in verified status. Additionally, when I click the invoice it says "Details not yet available for invoice 1111111." Is that normal?
  7. Quick synopsis of Tank Girl: A young woman who lives in a post-apocalyptic Australia who enjoys drinking beer (and everything else), killing the man and his henchmen via her very rat rod tank, and hanging out/having sex with her mutant half man half kangaroo boy friend. I never dug the movie (Ice-t plays one of the mutant kangaroos), but the comic is nothing but fun.
  8. I have two copies, one really low grade and one is probably about 9. When I bought them neither one was advertised as a Tank Girl first appearance. They were relatively cheap too compared to any other decent first appearance. I assume they not printed in large quantities, but that is just speculation on my side. I think I am going to get my high end copy graded. It just seemed weird because the US version that came out years later with no first appearances all have copies in the census. I just felt like I was missing something.
  9. I was just wondering why the first appearance of Tank Girl has no graded copies? By its dimensions, I believe it could be graded. Also, I know she is not the most popular character, but almost everything has been graded at some point. So, why no love for this first appearance?
