  1. Nice book. If you can remove that circle 6.5. As it is probably 5.0
  2. This is the story from Bleeding Cool, I do see that one of the boxes overlap another, not sure if they reprinted because of this: Marvel Comics Asks Retailers to Hold on to Ed Piskor’s Corner Box Posted by Rich Johnston December 15, 2017 15 Comments 487 Marvel Comics has asked retailers not to sell one particular cover variant of X-Men: Grand Design #1 on its original sale date of December 20th, and instead keep it back until the 27th. Due to a printer error, Marvel is having to reprint the Corner Box variant cover of the upcoming X-Men reworked comic by Ed Piskor. The one just made up out of corner box designs from the eighties. As a result, some stores are getting them, but some aren’t. So Marvel has asked for all retailers who do get this variant cover to hold it back a week until after Christmas so that everyone can catch up. Though they can sell the other covers X-Men: Grand Design #1 for the 20th. Not complicated at all is it? What are the odds that most retailers will not notice or forget? 3. Bleeding Cool stated that X-men Grand Design #1 corner box variant would be delayed to some comic retailers due to a printing error. However, that some comic retailers would still release because they may not get email to hold on to comics until the new printing on December 27. Notice that ebay has some going up due to this, not sure what the difference between the error printing and the corrected printing.
  4. Is there an error printing of X-Men Grand Design #1 Corner Box Variant? I thought I read that Bleeding Cool had stated that they were delaying the printing of the corner box variant due to a printing error but that some retailers may have not gotten the email about holding the comic until the new printing came out this week. Just wondering if anyone saw two versions of the comic printing.
  5. Label updates for Fantastic four 204 (cameo appearance of Nova Corps) and Fantastic four 205 (full appearance of Corps).
  6. Hello: I noticed that Fantastic Four 204 does not reflect cameo of Nova Corps on Key comments. Also, Fantastic Four 205 does not reflect the full appearance of Nova Corps on Key comments. Wikipedia reflects this. Just wondering. I have several books in graded status. Thank you.
  7. There has been some question whether Star Wars Hot Topic were all manufactured with a polybag and whether this should be inputted on the CGC label. Yes, all of these books were manufactured with a polybag. This was the big fuss about the Avengers ad in the back which you could not see because it had a backing board. In fact, CBCS comics has acknowledged this and has put this on their labels. Here are some pictures. [/img]
  8. When the advertised toys come out. Are they having two colored versions of the Hulk toys. One green and the other grey/gray. Is there a color printing error on the ads rather the assumption that all the ads show the gray hulk. Has anyone really looked at the back cover ads of the book(s) and compared them? Something to think about.
  9. Check out your local estate sales. Do a search type in your city and estate sale. You will get a listing of your local estate sales and be there early. Usually comic book dealers are already there early in the morning. I found a whole box of Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos starting from #1-167 for $150.00. This was totally by total accident and in my neighborhood. In fact, I was leaving the house with the estate sale and turned quickly when I saw the long box. The box was sealed and it stated Sgt Fury in bad ink and $150.00 in pencil. The first 10 issues in very good category and then got better. Also, scout storage bins up for auction. Those long boxes are usually visible. Outta here.
  10. yeah like the tooth fairy...pressed dollars...not the ones with the crease down the middle.
