  1. That Joker is going to forever haunt my dreams! Johnny killed it
  2. Last one my wife has! Deadpool by Nick Bradshaw signed by co-creator Fabian Nicieza and professional cameo actor Stan Lee. Signed by Stan at his final convention appearance during Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018.
  3. Another that belongs to my wife. Darth Vader vs Luke from the Empire Strikes Back. A funny take on Luke having hisbhand cut off. Drawn by Leonard Kirk who is currently working on Han Solo for Marvel. Signed by actors Mark Hamill and David Prowse. Also signed by Stan Lee.
  4. I believe Stan's old company POW Entertainment has his likeness rights. Stan sold his stake and then another company bought POW. Stan tried to sue them back in 2018 from what I read but ended up dropping the lawsuit. I bet the contract with CGC for the label was only good while Stan was alive. If so maybe POW wants to much for his likeness. Either way it's a shame.
  5. Some sketch covers my wife has been working on the past few years. She usually tags along one day a year to our local Con. Sometimes she'll pick up a piece of comic art or get a sketch cover done. Black Panther by Ken Lashley. Signed by Stan Lee at his final convention appearance during Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018. Thor by Dale Keown. She wants to add Hulk wrapping around back to front. Signed by Stan's brother Larry Lieber Thor co-creator with Stan. Also signed by Joe Sinnott who inked Thor's very first appearance. Stan as Santa with kid Spidey on his lap by Jay Fosgitt. Jay has done work on Rocket Raccoon and Groot along with various Marvel comics variant covers.
  6. Thanks Yoshi! Wildman totally blew me away with the commission. Was super happy with how it turned it.
  7. Some CGC Signature Series sketch covers features Stan Lee. Stan as Spider-man by Humberto Ramos. Stan during his Deadpool strip club cameo by Leonard Kirk. Also signed on the back by Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza and long time Deadpool writer Gerry Duggan. Stan as Captain America for a homage to issue 109. All were signed by Stan Lee at his final convention appearance Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018.
  8. Ken Lashley sketch covers. The DC Metal ones are limited edition blanks also signed by the Bat Who Laughs creators Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder. The Thor is signed by Thor creators Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Joe Sinnott. The Joker and Harley are just nice sketches no extra creator sigs yet.
  9. Amazing Spider-man #648 CGC 9.8 SS with sketch by UK artist Andrew Wildman. Andrew worked on Marvel's Transformers comics, the 1st Black Cat solo series and Spider-man Arachnis Project. Decided on a sketch that spanned his career. Front is Black Cat getting undressed wearing Spidey undies. Back has a cover recreation of Transformers #3 which actually had a cameo by Spider-Man. Signed by Stan Lee at his final convention appearance Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018. Also signed by long time Amazing Spider-Man writer Dan Slott and artist Humberto Ramos.
  10. Thank you for the working link in Canada that's awesome! Which you could see all the art on his walls! But very cool none the less!
  11. I have several Wolverine comics and a piece of original art signed by Bill Sienkiewicz. It's definitely his signature. He signed some of mine in a white marker/white out just like that.
  12. Savage Sword of Conan #143 page 64 by Geof Isherwood. Took me a while to check a Conan splash off my OA collecting bucket list. Picked this up from Geof a few years ago. Last SSOC page he had so I got lucky!! Included the cover scan for the issue it came from.
  13. Couple of Nick Bradshaw sketch covers that came back recently. Both signed by Stan Lee at his final public Con appearance. Some collectors don't like him signing books he hasn't worked on which I get. Stan's also had cameos in just about every Marvel movie. So in my eyes he's also an actor who had great cameos in Deadpool 1 and Avengers Infinity War + End Game. To each their own! Secret Wars #1 sketch by Nick Bradshaw. Signed by Thanos creator Jim Starlin and Stan Lee. Deadpool #50 sketch by Nick Bradshaw. Signed by Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza and Stan Lee.
  14. Some sketch covers I picked up in a large trade. A couple just came back from CGC after adding signatures. Marvels Project #1 Stan Lee sketch of Spider-man with inscription "Now you know why I don't draw the strip" Infinity Gauntlet #1 George Perez sketch of Thanos. Added Thanos/Infinity Gauntlet creator Jim Starlin's signature. TMNT #1 Leonardo vs Usagi Yojimbo. Sketch by Usagi Yojimbo creator Stan Sakai. Signed by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman.
  15. Some of my Leonard Kirk sketches back from CGC recently. Have a bunch more sketch covers I'll post later when I have time. Thanos and baby Groot signed by Jim Starlin. Rocket Raccoon sketch on the back. Stan Lee cameo from Deadpool signed by Stan during his final public appearance at SVCC. Rocket Raccoon and baby Groot. Signed by Rocket co-creator Keith Giffen and Groot co-creator Stan Lee. Stan also signed this at his final Con appearance.
  16. When I saw Mike Zeck a few years ago at a local con he had a GI Joe cover that was for sale in his art portfolio. Can't remember which one or the price but it was somewhere around 7k-10k USD I believe. Was well out of my price range is all I remember. You can try contacting him and see if he still has it. I have a bunch a GI Joe and The Transformers #1 pages I got from Herb Trimpe before he passed.
  17. Wow I had no idea Deodato Elektra work had reached these new price points! Here's a published Deodato splash I gave to my wife a number of years ago as a gift. What do you think this would be worth now? Might have to raise my insurance coverage lol.
  18. I believe if a company accepts a resolution from the BBB and follows through they maintain a good rating. If they ignored BBB and don't resolve the issue their rating drops.
  19. Oh oh the trolls are out. What exactly have you done to help the situation. I'm gonna guess you aren't even from Toronto or been to Paradise. Just searching the cgc boards for people to troll. Your type is exactly the reason I have never used message boards. I gave advice, some people have listened and they're getting their books back. I removed a review from Facebook which lost 10 billion in value this week that people are jumping like its the titanic. Where's your bad Paradise review? Oh I think your mom just called down to the basement. Dinner is ready. Woddle up little man and don't forget to clean your room. Lame....
  20. I made threats that Paradise must have thought were empty. I followed through with what I said I'd do and gave them an out. They took it and my book is on its way. Someone else has a review on their facebook leading to this forum and telling people to beware. Plus these forum posts are still here for everyone to read. I never said I'd remove these. You're completely right I want this done with. Have a family and a busy life. Don't have the time or energy for this. I do wish everyone the best of luck. That being said don't sit on getting your books back from Paradise. If you wait they may never come.
  21. I haven't removed my CGC forum posts and anyone here can leave negative feedback for them like I did. I'm one of the few people that took it as far as I did. I've helped a few people through here with how to deal with this situation. My book is on it's way and like I said I'm a man of my word. Complaining on here will only get you so far. You have to take action.
  22. I called CGC this morning and my book is in the grading room and will be arriving this week at Paradise. So I was able to verify what Peter told me via email. I only have the one book with Paradise and personally I'll never go there again. I'll be using Carlos at Gotham Central from now on. Heard about this specific CGC forum through someone at Toronto Comic Con having similiar issues. I only jumped on this forum to give advice and allow other to follow my issues. I raised hell to get priority at Paradise and get my book found. It was literally not in CGC's records. Still don't have all the details as to what happened and probably never will. CGC gives limited info on others accounts. I promised Peter and his wife I'd remove my negative facebook feedback once this was resolved. So I held up my end and just deleted it. Others here may not agreewith it but I keep my word. Anyways my issues are resolved so I'm out of here. My advice is if you want your books back and you've been waiting way too long. Gather as much evidence as you can, leave negative reviews and submit a detailed email complaint to CGC. Better Business Bureau is also another route you can go. Didn't have to go that far but I have used them in the past with great success. Stay strong everyone and best of luck!
