That's not too bad. I can't find a link but I found a Walking dead GN signed by Stan lee on craigslist. I am willing to bet many people just generally associate Stan Lee to comics.
-
Stan lee won't be around very long and when he's gone I think books with his signature may be sought after.

whenever I think of some of the board members here I think of that clip in forest gump, where, well here is the clip, 'cause some of you guys must be millionaires and the rest of us don't know it.
Seeing this made me watch Forrest Gump again. It's even better now than it was twenty years ago. I actually shed tears.

Shouldn't be any surprise. My sales started at 12 has now surpassed $35 each. Which is the price I'm stopping at. Saving the rest for another month

Or have it prescreened

Why isn't Queen and Country from Oni Press hotter? Queen and country movie

Venom/Anti-Venom are cool characters. But try explaining to the mass audiences how anti-venom affects spider-man's spidey senses, etc...
These are all characters that will eventually work its way into the movies. However, Carnage will have to be introduced before anti-venom. IMO
-
No doubt, Carnage will show up at certain point. It's one of those villains with mass merchandising appeal.

He certainly sells comic to buy comics to sell comics.

Campbell Covers/Variants Report
JCS really gets the shaft on these boards, except by those selling.
it's just funny that once his name is attached to a cover it turns into an instant $50+ book...even if the cover sucks. Sure he has done a few killer covers but ... for most of them.
Its only his lady covers though. His non-sexy covers don't get much heat.

Don't forget Zenescope. Hehe
-
Yup. Sold 10 copies of #1 to recoup some costs. The rest of the copies will be sold at Saga prices.
-
That's insane! But there aren't many for sale.

That number 1500-1700 makes me even that much happier.

If we find out the Ottley print run is as low as the LBCC, it should set off an inferno.
There is no way. The confirmed numbers of the LBCC are 250
. My guess is there are 5000 ottleys in existence.

Originally I wanted to go HUGE on this title, but chickened out. Only ordered 25 each variant.

This could be on a similar path as PP. Not in terms of prices since PP had lower prints and it caught people by surprises, but the story is creating demands.

CGC serves it purpose by being the referee to the hobby. Are they perfect? No. But for sellers and buyers across long distance a few simple pics to show the graded comic books is sufficient to complete a transaction. It is this that I welcome third party grading services.
I agree that there should be more transparency to instill trusts among collectors and sooner or later it will come. In defense to cgc, even with all the transparencies and rules, referees often make mistakes that cost teams agame or two.
Grading services like cgc will improve with time and technological advances. Assuming they continue to invest in the technological advances.
