This may be the only show I do in 2018, so come by and say hi. When you say hi, check out this Dione "Thanos" Sanders custom Starting Lineup figure. It's a one of one and comes with an official Marvel sketchcard that is hand pained. I'll be set up somewhere in the building. In the 500 section.

Dang, I need to get in the witness business. Maybe since I'm sitting next to the Dorkbuzz at this show, I'll be able to learn a couple of things.

Naw, it's the cover image behind the cutout. -

I do requests, and I have quite a few blanks that are still blank as well. Thanks! -

I've been told more than likely a .5 since the cover is "destroyed", but that was before a pretty lengthy and thought out conversation between the CGC staff at a couple of shows. -

Up for sale. A few one of one hand cut blank variant covers. Each was hand cut with an xacto blade. True one of one's. $45 each shipped. I ship UPS so I'd prefer no PO Boxes, if PO Boxes are the only option, add $5 for USPS shipping. Questions? Ask away.

Looks like a tease for some sort of Back To The Future surprise for this show. It just hit my inbox.

There are just as many cosplay "guests" as actual guests. I love the Fan Expo guys, they have always been pretty awesome, especially Kevin, but if I paid $300 for a table in Artist Alley, I'd be sweating big time.
-
Drag. They were good table mates at the last show.

Wizard World Oklahoma City -- October 27-29, 2017

All- I'll be in Artist Alley for this show. If you're on the fence about going, use discount code ADAMS for 20% off your tickets. -
Everyone has valid points in the thread. But everyone needs to understand that Kevin is doing the best with what he's been given. He would never try to intentionally put a substandard show together. At the end of the day, the guys sitting in the corner offices in Ontario expect a profit from this show. And the group that runs the convention center wants a cut of that profit too. Then there's the transportation companies that want a cut of that too. Then you have to pay the talent, and there's no way those guys come to town cheap. That's why the booths cost so much. Hell, I'm priced out of Artist Alley for this one. Fan Expo Dallas was pretty badass last year. Great guest list. Great crowd. Dallas Fan Days needs a little more razzle dazzle, but it's not an awful show. It's got Matilda, and that's a pretty good thing. Maybe he asked comic legend X and they declined. He can't force anyone to come out here. But guys, remember it's all about the bottom line. If Kevin is expected to have a 25% GP at the end of the show, then he has to find a way to get a 28% GP to keep Ontario happy. Just sayin.

As far as the overcrowding issue, I saw the Fire Marshall a few times throughout the weekend. He seemed to be fine with the crowd size. There was a DFD presence all weekend long. When the guest list is that great, the people will show up. It was a pretty great show.

That article seems like it clearly has an agenda against Fan Expo.

I will say this, and it's no indictment on the show at all. It's annoying when local professional creators bail early or doesn't show at all one of the days. There are creators out there that would cherish a spot behind a professional table, and I've always thought it was disrespectful to the show and to the attendees. And before anyone says they may have had an emergency, save it. There are a handful of these creators that do it every single show. It's not an isolated incident.

What a great show. Great crowd, great staff, and pretty awesome guests.

Please come say hello.

I'll be set up. A56 I think. Come say hi, I'll have a bunch of original art, some die cut covers, bootleg resin action figures too. Oh, and never before offered fresh sticker packs to sticker bomb your favorite street sign. 6 stickers for only $5.

This is the lowest I've ever sold these for, I normally sell them for $60 each at conventions and they do pretty well. $40 each shipped CONUS. Bundle discount for multiples. All of these are hand cut, nothing mechanical. Just me and my x-acto knife. Thanks for looking.
