  1. New Super-Man #1 118,000 . less than I thought
  2. ....and were then cancelled a week later. And subsequently absorbed by the market....
  3. 50 sets and 100 single color books sold in 12 hours vs 10,000 Turner HQ#1 variants sold in hours. 1 person could easily have bought the entire print run of this book in 1 minute. Will they be worth the price you paid in a year, maybe, worth hundreds in a year maybe. But I am not so sure micro printings for retailers are tremendous speculative plays. They are however great additions to a personal collection. IMHO
  4. At one per most people are just going to hit up there locals...
  5. There were a couple hundred available yesterday at tfaw... Today, not so much.
  6. Well, I remember raws going from 5 to 50 in a very short period of time. CGC 9.8's were $250. guess 900% increase can be viewed differntly by others. I can assure you ,as a former brokerage guy ,that kind of return is "nuclear" to most ? but back on topic. The events at The end of Venom Space Knight #9 point more towards Mania returning.
  7. Gwenom...does Guardians of knowhere #1 go nuclear again if it is her? The gimmick first appearance on cover.
  8. An official T-206 Honus Wagner replica card for ONLY .01 + shipping and handling. The Master...Sho Nuff! I woke up the next morning and refused to get out of bed ... I didn't want to look in that mirror and see a LOSER!
  9. The reason they have the 2 books still in-stock has very little to do with cancellations. Since Monday they INCREASED the color from 3000 to 9000! And the B&W to 6000! That was a byproduct of them answering the overwhelming demand from people to have more Hatless variants ( which was supposed to go from 1000 to 2500). They back down from the Hatless increase but still are keeping the other 2 increases. IF they can cancel those increases I am sure they will or would if they can. They caved into those that had the limited book but bitc h slapped the people who owned the other 2 books. Also, there was supposed to be a very LIMITED quantity avaiable of these 2 books with a STRICT limit of 1 per account. They haven't changed the new "rules" for today but they did change the limit to 2 ....soon to be unlimited
  10. Probably as long as they are still releasing new Rebirth books...unfortunately.
  11. For giggles 150k print run...1.4 Billion people...worth a shot at trying to infiltrate the market don't you think?China is communist still BUT is certainly evolving. Very capitalistic and showing some signs of socialism.
  12. The demand in there for the smaller print book. They will be selling those color and b&w variants for awhile if they maintain the new 9000 and 6000 print runs. Perhaps they will drop the price on those?
  13. With the focus on the "Hatless" variant what is really lost is the increased print runs on the other 2 books. Color is now at 9000 !!! and B&W at 6000!!! They are now going to keep the 3rd variant print run at 1000 but why the CRAZY high increase of the other 2 . Seems to me the reason they were increasing all of the numbers was because the MAJORITY wanted more of the Hatless which necessitated icreased numbers of the other 2. Then the LOUD Minority who were able to purchase the 3 packs(1000 buyers vs 3000 buyers hypothetically) raised a stink and they have changed their minds again. That should decrease the numbers of the other 2 as well.
  14. hmmm....1500 more Puddin Packs @$60/ = $90,000 3500 more Dual Packs at $30/ =$105,000 and 6000 more Color Books @$15/= $90,000 . SO, $285,000 more in sales (17,500 more books sold . Cost is approx $52,500) . Good on them for going above and beyond for their new fans
  15. 200 have NOT been damaged that is their best guess as to how many MIGHT be damaged. The book hasn't even been printed yet. Seems like they plan on having some later to sell into the market after release at higher prices. As if, selling a book for $40 that cost them $3 wasn't enough profit already smh
  16. Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind Memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine
  17. I hope you are correct. I have a "few" of each I pre-ordered
  18. This book is going to have a monster print run. Hope you're dead wrong about spec though... Character is created for Chinese market. If it catches on: BOOM! I bought in. I hope I am wrong too, but seeing Star Wars #1 like quantities, maybe just some smart stores, we shall see Hilarious. No. Not a good comparison. You just lost your credibility with that one.... Good luck. Full disclosure: I bought a fluck ton, because I see potential. You sound like a guy that got shut out on cove B's...or something , said I am seeing in the stores I visited about what they ordered for star wars not that the print run will be that high I don't know how else to read your post. Larry wasn't only one to interpret it as such
  19. There you have it. It's tough to sell out a book with 300,400,500,000+ print runs before release. With all the first appearances, cameos, and the market DC is angling for this SHOULD be a book to lock down and re-visit in 6 months. Yes, I understand most LOVE to flip but the play IMO is a bit longer.
  20. IMO (guesstimate) it will do around 200,000 and that might be a tad high. It is a Superman book after all and Superman #1 did 105,000 and Superman Rebirth #1 did 118,000 last month. Perhaps Larry can chime in with availability at Diamond for re-orders. IF they are already sold-out than you can be damn sure that the print run was in the 100,000-200,000 range
