  1. we do have free play, we don't charge if you play in our store if thats what you mean. anytime anyone wants to play, i let them. we already have a D&D group that comes in every other sunday. 7 people so far. its nice to have that many people in the store but D&D people dont spend money. at least my D&D people don't. all good though/ So if you give them a free place to play anytime, what do you get out of it? It's an awesome thing that you let them hang out, but I'm just curious.
  2. i think it's a browser issue, i keep at it and after a few attempts it gets fixed Ah okay. I didn't know if I was the only one experiencing the issue. Thanks!
  3. I've had some problems with the duration of new listings. Whenever I set up a new item to sell, and then get down to the "Duration" dropbox, it ALWAYS switches to a 30 day listing. I'll change it to a 7 day, the little circle comes up like the page is loading, and then it jumps back to 30 days. I have to keep changing it up to ten or more times before it finally stays on 7 days. Has anybody else experienced this or know how to fix it?
  4. I liked Nightwing, but didn't read much of Grayson.
  5. Did you have the Best Offer option listed? If so, I would expect people to make you an offer. I had the Best Offer option, but why would I expect somebody to make an offer where I'd actually have a negative total sale after shipping, which is $3.45? Why not? The better question is why would you not have auto decline setup for an offer that low. I like responding to all offers. The cha-ching notification on my phone makes me happy. I had a shop owner basically tell me the same thing. Always complained about low ball offers and I told him to set to auto decline and he said he liked seeing all offers that came in. Can't have it both ways. I've never had an offer that low on a book with free shipping.

  9. I was wondering because there were no updates after the voting ended.
  10. I wonder how if that will do just as well on the secondary market or bring the original prices down.
  11. true. I didn't dislike Garfield, but I didn't like him either.
  12. It's tough to bet against Harley books in the current market.
  13. It at least sets Sony/Marvel up to have more than a few films before he looks 30.
  14. looks fine in Civil War mostly, a lot of it has to do with lighting, angles, and CGI touch-ups. I'm not sure what story line will be told in the movie, but in reality, imagine the type of costume you would make if you were 15 years old, your parents died, you had super strength, and you were from NYC, and you were kinda poor (but not destitute). The above avg intelligence may help a bit, but not that much. It SHOULD look like a Halloween costume. I see your point but I'd offer the counter that the movie is based on a fantasy world where a kid has super spider powers and being as it's not grounded in reality anyway the suit should look better than a cheap Halloween costume. Spider-Man is sort of grounded in reality. That's the appeal for a lot of people. He's a young kid, living a normal life, doesn't have money, etc. It would be a little weird for a high school kid to suddenly have enough money for a great suit as soon as he's bitten.
  15. Midtown will absolutely refund your money on a bad book. Its happened to me twice and they didn't even ask me to return the books (not that they, or anybody else, would want them). +1. One time a fill-in mailman bent my books in half to stuff them into the mailbox. I contacted Midtown and got all new books even though it wasn't their fault.
