This is wild. I was on vacation and came back to see people popping off about this all over the place. I keep finding new layers to this, like the fact that it was a book that didn't sell the first time and they just added an overlay cover on it.

So the take away is everything Modern is performing ahead of schedule. And anything that isn’t modern is languishing like the condensation on the back of a toilet tank.

Standard received 04/01. went In to G/E/I the next week quoted TAT time is 21 days now. actual time so far, 56 days.

At this rate @greggy is going to get all of his Modern slows back faster than my Standard submission. And his book arrived later than mine as well.

My standard sub is at Day 52 against a TAT of 15 days. I have no idea what is happening with upper tier orders.

I’ve been going around the block on this one in the past week hoping to get the books moving. I called in today to chat about it, and got very little useful information and even some that contradicted a previous conversation I had with them. I get the impression customer service doesn’t really know much about where things are at, and don’t care a whole lot either. To be fair, they aren’t incentivized to care. they said the books were in the encapsulation queue, which is where they’ve allegedly been for 3-4 weeks. They said they were currently encapsulating standard books received 05/16. I said OK. Mine was received 04/01. Can we get this thing going, if you’re doing books that came a month and a half after mine? Obviously the answer was no, and basically we just have to take what we get.

Standard submission 13 books received 04/01 currently G/E/I, which is where it has been for more than 2 months current quoted TAT: 15 business days my actual TAT so far: 45 business days

My Standard received 04/01 still hasn’t shipped.

Mine has been in G/E/I for like 6 weeks.

I once submitted a batch of 25 copies of this book, all with this issue, and all 25 got 9.8.

Mine received 04/01 is still in G/E/I. So it seems wildly inconsistent. Mine has been in G/E/I since before yours was even received.

My standard was received 04/01, and it still in G/E/I. It has been in G/E/I for a month. Meanwhile one of my modern slowtracks was in G/E/I for about an hour today, and is now QC.
