What a Wildly Whimsical Wednesday's tale! Thank you for that. (thumbsu

Is that from some dead sea-type, recently discovered scroll version of Aesop's fables? I don't remember that anecdote being included in the original.  hm

    Ha!

No, just a tale of yesteryear in the land of Torontoros at the perennial gathering dubbed Fan Expo!

In all seriousness - just sharing. I don't doubt a word you all have said.

Why the face palm?  It's the toughest cover and rarely pops up on ebay.  When it does, it seems to be going up in value based on what I have observed (this version, not all covers).  It's not setting the woods on fire like some other major modern keys, but it seems to be on an upward trajectory.  I thought this thread was about uncovering gems that are due to breakout, not pointing them out after they have peaked.

Even if the show idea fizzles, there is also talk of a movie.  The property is on Hollywood's radar.

  3. Looked through a bunch more of these covers today, and I gotta admit I am really digging this one by Stelfreeze. I'm not entirely surprised.

I wonder if it's been sold. Does he sell his art and, if so, where?

Spoke to Brian at SDCC a year or two ago (it's a blur) and he said his published work is primarily digital though certain elements of a piece may be done traditionally.

It was a sad day for me.

  4. I think it would be interesting to know those who are arguing for one book or another exactly which books they own

    hm

I sold all of my 14s and 17 2nd prints. Figured I'd flush the poo while it was still steaming.

I've seen you in the ASM 678 Mary Jane Variant thread.

If you own one you may want to consider another flush lol

  5. Canadian actress, Melinda Shankar, tweeted Marvel a while back with her face against a copy of Ms. Marvel 1.

Three days ago she tweeted enjoying her visit to Marvel accompanied with a tongue in cheek emoji indicating she has a secret.

    Just thought I'd share.
