  1. Leave him a neg. Please post this in the General Discussion thread. It'll be fun watching The Contrarians Three rush to defend this seller.
  2. I'd never ask, what matters to me is IF it was pressed, but if a seller got their back up I'd spend my money elsewhere.
  3. Invincible 13 cover OA for sale on eBay in case anyone is interested. Not my listing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Image-Comics-Invincible-13-Original-Artwork-/171651642408#ht_439wt_1126
  4. When I was young anything other than first printing was frowned upon. The game done changed.
  5. This is a recurring discussion here, and it fascinates me each time. Is there really a difference between a seller saying: 1) Book costs $1030, but take a $30 discount if paying cash or check; vs 2) Book costs $1000, but add $30 if paying via fee-based PayPal; The only difference is mental, right? Why does the phrasing in #2 bother us so much more than #1? This is just a rhetorical question, of course...just one of the vagaries of human psychology, I suppose...fascinating. People getting a discount. People getting an extra fee. People paying a fee they don't know they are paying.
  6. Can someone tell me the significance of page 1? I'm still on the second TPB and the pricing has piqued my interest.
  7. Funny enough my LCS only had issues 2 & 5 from the series. I grabbed them both as extras since I got this series when it came out.
  8. Isn't the first issue pencils only? If so, I certainly wouldn't pay over $500 for a page. Inked up? Different story.
  9. What current series, Saga? It's lucky to crack the top 25 in a given month. Underrated in terms of is he currently the best in the business? There are probably a large stack of Eisner award winners that you have never read. At least I haven't. Top 25 would place it among a bunch of Marvel/DC titles and The Walking Dead. Not bad for an indy. I attended the Eisner's this year and believe me I hadn't read them all either. But I'm not talking about Best Anthology Reprint of Foreign Material in a Digital Medium for Kids Under 12. I'm talking about Best Writer and Best Continuing Series. You'd be hard pressed to find an underrated winner in either category over the last 5 to 10 years. But enough about awards – I don't think he's over or underrated – I think he gets the due befitting his talent and output. Your mileage may vary.
  10. Hard to classify him as underrated with 3 Eisners for Best Writer and another 3 for Best Continuing Series on his mantle. Not to mention the hit series that sells like hot cakes.
  11. Oprah is a fine actor and casting her would be a real coup. Is she Viola Davis? No, but few are.
  12. Friendly communication, fast shipping, bulletproof packaging and threw in a book I mentioned I'd been looking for FREE! Highest possible recommendation.
  13. If Migos were on the cover this would go for four figures.
  14. With plenty of room to climb. (thumbs u had my 5 copy order canceled by MYBOOKCOMICSHOP last week........ Coincidentally grabbed 2 of these on my lunch today. Left the other 8 or so in the bin.
  15. Awesome cover Court! I enjoyed the auction (my first) and our friendly bidding rivalry while it lasted. Congrats!
  16. Why did he pull his OA off of splashart's website? Does anyone know? I got a cover long ago and am glad I did when I had the chance. Here, here! I said A cover not 80% of them
  17. Why did he pull his OA off of splashart's website? Does anyone know? I don't know for certain but the art didn't seem to be moving. At least not the covers. Whatever the reason it seems to have created demand. I've never seen the interest in Ottley OA so high. I got a cover long ago and am glad I did when I had the chance.
