  1. Amazing huh? or is it Spectacular?
  2. Yeah, I feel ya. I loved Rebels and its animation. This is a little too kid oriented for me. Not liking the animation feel either. Looking forward to the conclusion of Clone Wars though!
  3. This is pretty cool, thanks for posting this! In addition, any suggestion for Soft Cover TPBs?
  4. And then after the divorce, right back to playing the "cat & mouse" game again (pun intended) or DC will have their history rewritten again, so it won't matter anyways.
  5. Is the MERA #1 still available? Also, please let me know when the MJ comes in
  6. Gotcha! Yes, as you stated it should show it as part of the CGC description or directly next to the CGC sticker (for ex. "REPRINT")
  7. So how did you figure out it was a reprint, since you bought them already slabbed? The comics themselves should have something on the cover that shows they are not the original prints. Pictures?
  8. Also some good names: -Elvira! -Ryan Hurst (just announced as Beta in Walking Dead) -Lou Diamond Philips -Ke Huy Quan (Temple of Doom, Goonies) -Robert Patrick (T-1000)
  9. There is also this one on eBay which is similar but just a Catwoman sketch on #50... SDCC Batman #50 w/ Catwoman sketch
  10. I have not heard anything about Starlin's signature not being allowed for CGC witnessing, as he has been at a couple of shows lately, Terrifcon being the most recent. I do know he does charge $$$, as specified, it was $20 the last time I heard. Good luck to you at Baltimore, as I will also be there (it's a great show).
  11. Cool video and sketch from "the boy genius" LOL Also, you really can tell how much he hates Wolverine.
  12. Better hope you are verified through eBay to see his other items LOL
  13. Yeah, totally saw this coming. Intellectual property is a big thing nowadays and not surprised the pub got shut down. As a fan, it sucks but as a business, they want their money and their cut. As a musician, I see this all the time with people wanted to do covers of songs or use songs in videos and what not. Copyrights are a huge thing with popular entertainment. I wish the guys well and good luck on their next endeavor.
  14. LOL. I was actually being serious and hope no one gets duped by this guy. I wish I could put a disclaimer on his listing. (Although, i was really laughing at the eBay post itself...."why would anybody?")
  15. I hope there are no poor suckers out there!
  16. Been attending for the past couple of years (since I'm in Maryland). Definitely a great show! Good show to talk to dealers and the like. More artist and writer based as well. As for pics, I could post a couple for ya The countdown has begun! (also depends what kind of pics you want to see?)
  17. Did you counter his counter? I know sometimes sellers are looking to see how much you are willing to put in for the book, so they counter with a higher price than what you put in (regardless of how much of a discount it is from the original price). I know I at least counter once with offers that I get, to see how much the buyer is willing to buy the book for. My pet peeve is when a buyer puts in an Offer, I counter and then I never hear from them again. If both parties have the ability to counter (I think at least 3 or 4 times), why not use them all to meet somewhere in the middle?
  18. If only grading were about how a book catches your eye But seriously, as you stated, with the defects you presented the book does not look it will get a high grade, probably mid level. I would definitely seek a professional/CGC representative for more information. Good luck!
  19. I definitely agree that you might want to start with posting them here on the forums first. "One person's trash is another person's treasure.." or so it goes. You never know if someone is looking to complete a collection and really wants your book/slab. You might get the price you want or close to it as you might get some good offers. Secondly, I would go with eBay and then Clink. Good luck!
  20. Yeah, you never know what is going on with sellers and their idea of how or when to sell books. I definitely recommend a negative feedback on something like that though. Also, I definitely recommend Comics to Astonish. They do top notch work and deliver every time!
  21. Just tried to add this user to my block list and it looks like it is an "Invalid User ID" Thanks for the message though, sorry he screwed you over. My condolences.
  22. Also very big fan of his art, which is amazing!!! If you have a chance, he has a Youtube channel as well where he does some drawings, definitely check it out! Very great guy, met him at SDCC last year and was awesome to talk to! Artgerm Youtube
