Unfortunately High Value doesn't allow prescreen either ....
-
I'd be over the moon with a 1.5... I think a 1.0 is reasonable as well
-
Welllll all was fine and dandy until I went to look at prescreening it.. Did they remove prescreen for High and Unlimited Value recently?
-
Thanks, would love to get more opinions

Thinking the same - what specifically differentiates between a .5 and a 1.0 in this case? Is it mainly the size of the missing pieces?

I recently picked up this X-Men 1 and debating submitting for grading. The covers are detached but presents fairly well with none of the most important cover elements missing on the front. The rest of the book is complete with no cut outs. I have thoughts on what it would grade but would like to hear all opinions. TIA !

Is this an old Chris Claremont sig?... Or something else?

Upon more research, appears it could be legit - he had LOTS of variations around this time it seems. Any other examples are appreciated -
Question about new Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong variant

I'm also curious about this one - I'll try to follow along here or please let me know as well! I think the book may be thin enough that a thicker holder would safely hold it, depending on the other requirements at play for the process to work without issue. -
Where did this 1994 Superman art come from? Ripped up tshirt?

That's great! I wonder if they just updated his hair from '93 to '94 on any other items -
I found this folded up in a collection some time ago and haven't figured out what the graphic came off of. One of those "maybe someday I'll figure it out"s. The material is like a cotton T-shirt and extremely thin, but the graphic itself doesn't have much wear at all. Seems to be cut out of something though. Image search hasn't been much help. Anyone have/had this shirt or whatever it was back in the day?

I picked up this book the other day and am unsure what to call it grade-wise. I knew about this issue in advance and I got it for a pretty good deal. It almost looks like it was in a stack of books at one time where the spine stuck out just enough to get either a dark "dust shadow" or a spray paint of some type. I'd be curious what the top book looked like or others in the stack. My main concern is that it might be labeled as restoration by CGC... Does anyone have experience with submitting books like this? Insight is much appreciated. Scans are below:

Kind of wish I would have kept this one! Oh 7 years ago

I've been buying and selling on the forums since 2013 and online marketplaces (eBay and others) since 1999. Feel free to check out the kudos here on the forums if you'd like some references. 📦 Shipping via USPS Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation due to value is included in the prices listed. Prices are in USD. Shipping to USA only (sorry int'l friends). 💰 Payment via PayPal Goods and Services invoice only, due within 24 hours. An invoice to pay from will be sent via email. ✅ All sales final unless I happen to have missed something, and we can work it out. I don't foresee that happening but I try to be easy to work with and practice the Golden Rule in general and hope you do the same. ⚠️ No HOS or Probs (boardies on any Hall of Shame or Probation Lists). I reserve the right to not sell to anyone I don’t feel comfortable with - whether they be on a list, have a poor reputation of not paying, history of scamming others online, if I have you on ignore, etc. This has never had to happen so far - just a friendly note to cover that base. First posted in the thread by timestamp trumps any PM conversations.

Great eye appeal for the grade. Missing piece on bottom edge of back cover and front cover, missing small cover corner triangle. Small tear at the same spot, full book. Thank you in advance for your opinions

Winning bidder (2 bids, 2 bidders) asked to cancel the day after winning a $250 slab on ebay. Not much I can do but cancel and recommend a block: Mikejones10 - Michael Sherman

Centerfold is detached. Cover is barely holding on. Appears complete (...other than the chomp). Please let me know your thoughts on what CGC might call this. Thank you!

PGM Strange Tales 110
Rhymenoceros replied to Rhymenoceros's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Super delayed update, but this book came back a 4.5 with some slight correction on the page fanning. I'm happy with it
