Wow. My 5/16 is still sitting in GEI.
With all of these submissions entered as received completed weeks after mine, there may be a phone call made soon.
Mine is 5/8. Back of the line buddy

Found a super clean original owner lot of Joes. He said he just played with the tank as a kid and the rest were put away in his closet until he recently found them. With steeler and stalker I was able to complete my straight arm collection.
About half the figures have the red back mail away file card. Cobra commander is still sealed all the way. Unfortunately Duke’s bag has a hole where the sticker flag was removed. No doubt many of these will be upgrades for me. I’m still shocked on the condition. No broken thumbs and mostly all complete.- F For Fake, Cat, Dave2739 and 8 others

I'm definitely going to back the dragonfly. It was one of my favorites as a kid. I feel like the Hiss has more features like the cobra light so maybe thats why it has a higher price point. Also extra figures. Hopefully they give us more unlock tiers with the dragonfly.
Robotoyfest/GI joe show this sunday. Hopefully i find something cool.

If this has been answered sorry, but if the holdup in economy/vintage is encapsulation, why are moderns turning around in less than 5 days? Im sure its probably not this easy but can't they move some manpower to this department or prioritize some cases over there if it's a supply issue?
I wonder if they have different buildings/depts. with dedicated encapsulation machines. Probably not easy to break up the streamline of modern books. At least that's how i envision it.

Someone posted this on the facebook lego groups.
Remember to be leery of buying SEALED copies of sets with brown bricks. The mixture for brown bricks from around 2011-2016 has proven to be problematic and the bricks are VERY brittle. Lego has since changed the recipe but sets from this time period containing brown bricks, such as many Star Wars, Lone Ranger, and the Castle Kingdom sets suffer from this issue, as they featured many brown pieces in each of their sets.
I thought that was chocolate legos at first glance. Now there's an idea.

Thanks buddy! I love vintage plastic. There was some great Star Wars stuff I missed out too. I didn’t have an extra 1k lying around unfortunately. If I would have got the Star Wars stuff I probably would’ve kept most of them lol. The imperial shuttle was impressive and really clean.

I’m not sure if it was the same one. There wasn’t any pictures at the time I went, but why didn’t you tell me?

This has a 'how much for the whole bunch' vibe going.
There wasn’t really an opportunity to cherry pick. He had a golden age Batman book for a couple hundred, Spectacular Spider-Man 1 - 10, and stuff like this as well as some more expensive variants so it was too out of my range. I was going to get the 880 but there was a big crease on the back cover. I just stuck with stuff I like to collect.

Haven’t posted here in a while. I hope all is well. Here’s my pickups from this month. The larger joe lot I mainly got for the listen n fun tripwire, but it had a lot of vehicle upgrades for me. I always love that.
The Voltron I got with the talking Joe confuses me a bit. I went down the rabbit hole of all the different versions of Voltron. I don’t think it’s matchbox because the lions have the yellow buttons. I was thinking it might be the lionbot bootleg that is made in the same factory as the original, but the yellow lion has red cannon tips. Maybe someone here might know. In any case I need a red lion. I’m excited to own it either way. I never had a full set as a kid.

Is that ASM 1 the golden record reprint?
It is! I didn't think it would be at first, but sure enough i opened it when i got home and was ecstatic. Its the big winner of the bunch. 1st Sinestro has hole punches.

35c each though?
It baffles me (and I've been the lucky guy to buy $1000 books for $5 - so not a jab at you) that guys with 12 longboxes don't know the 1st app of Elektra is worth more than 35c
Or Morbius.
Or War Machine.
A lot of people would have happily paid $400 / $500+ for that haul.
Very rare nowadays to find such a clueless seller.
Congrats!
Some books I had originally were pulled out to be repriced like Thanos quest, Immortal Hulk, some silverage books. Just really lucky these made it through the stack. Thanks.

Yeah those books are the real standouts followed by She Spawn and Hush. They are about fine to vf. Very happy

I went again after the show and they were packing up.. just my luck lol. you should post this in the adventures in the dollar box thread
Lol well it is usually 20 degrees cooler here but often there isn't much as far as hunting comics and toys go.

A coworker tipped me off on a garage sale in town. Guy had a few long boxes out. Other people came as I was on the last box. I was able to get those Spawns and Batman Hush. Dollar books except for the Submariner. He said he had more he would bring out on Sunday.
Indeed he did. I was a little frantic for a little while expecting more people to show. Especially after I pulled the first big key Marvel Special Edition. Then even more after finding Electra. But I was all alone for an hour going through about a dozen longboxes. Guy was really nice. Cut me a better deal on the books. 35 cents each. So I told my buddies and they both spent over $100 each.
