  6. Nice attention to detail! These are pictures from the seller (that I bought from), who is based in the UK; he stated that he bought it from the original owner, who bought it off the shelf in 1962 (pretty cool). I actually bought it as a 3.5, but I know how subjective grading can be.

  8. Dave was an excellent buyer to deal with; he purchased a higher 4-figure book from me with no worries or hassles. I highly recommend him, and wouldn't hesitate to sell to/buy from him in the future.
  9. To whom it may concern/help, I will say that Mitko was very polite to me, and did send me the exact picture I asked for, below (view from the top, which most don't seem to take on their own); I just can't shake the thought of the book being offered for $2,000 less than it was sold for a few months back (sometimes, one's own greed can override their common sense, which is what I nearly allowed to happen). If Mitko is legitimate, I wish him and the buyer the best; my suggestion, to him, was for him to start out with a much smaller book, and move up to a larger one, such as this. Ron
  10. Great seller! Very fair price, smooth transaction, quick shipping, and bomb-proof packaging. Would highly recommend!
  11. I've seen a seller (not here, on eBay) advertise a book as being CGC graded, but the book is not encapsulated (there is only a label). I looked up the Certification Number, and it is from 2005; my question is to whether CGC offered some type of "grade-only" option then, or if they have never offered it. My gut tells me that a slab was cracked and this may, or may not, be the book that was encapsulated in said slab...I just wanted a second (or third, or fourth) opinion. Thanks, in advance, for your help!!

  13. I don't mean to hog the PGM thread; just wanted to post some extra pics. Aside from a majority of the spine being split, the cover (front and back) seems to present very nicely.
  14. Thanks, all! My thoughts were 1.0 (as opposed to 0.5), simply for the fact that the spine isn't completely split.
  15. PGM - Incredible Hulk 1 Hello All, I've just purchased this book as an Unrestored 1.0; just wanted to see if that (1.0) sounds relatively accurate. Cover is detached. Thanks, Ron
