  3. Walking Dead 100 CGC SS Signed 2X I have a couple CGC graded Signature Series Walking Dead issue 100 2nd and 3rd printings, signed 2X by Kirkman and Adlard...listed on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/matth41620/m.html?item=302349945526&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562 3rd Printing 9.8 - according to the CGC census, this is the highest grade for this printing are only 15 signature series at this grade...even fewer have both Kirkman and Adlard. 2nd Printing 9.6 I am excepting reasonable offers. Thanks for looking.
  4. I was also looking into this Brother printer....it is currently on sale and has a nice big scanning area...but will it work for slabbed books? I am pretty sure this uses the CIS scanning technology...which i heard is not good for scanning anything that is not flat. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
  5. Just to clarify...any scanner using CIS technology is no good for scanning slabbed books, correct? Also, does anyone have a list of current scanners or all-in-ones that use CCD and can fit the CGC books? I just contacted Epson and I was told that none of their current CCD models can fit anything bigger than 8.5x11...except for a graphic arts scanner that is well over $2000.
  6. Just wondering...is it ok to post photos/scans of books that I am considering purchasing from a third party. I have done this twice and the only problem I came across is that if the photos/scans are not reliable for grading purposes I cant produce additional photos/scans because it is not my book...but from now on I only plan to post good photos/scans that are sufficient. I will be sure indicate in my post that these are possible purchases and also to get as much information on the condition of the books, from the sellers, before posting. Let me know. Thanks in advance
  7. Sorry...this was another instance where I was trying to get a grade range on something I am hoping to purchase. So I have to use whatever pics the seller has. After posting I realized the pics weren't very good for the purpose of getting grades. I will definitely use youre advice and the links you provided in future posts though. Thanks for the help.
  8. Doc Savage 1 (1972),,,What do you guys think?
  9. If I do end up purchasing I definitely plan to get a full press and clean before grading. Just wish I had some more (better quality) pics that you guys could look at.
  10. Unfortunately these are the only pics available. This is not my book, but rather a book I am thinking about buying.
  11. Please help me determine grade range for this book. Also, do you think it would benefit from a full pressing?
