  5. Thanks guys. It seems every time I think I'm done and have sold off all of my Golden books, I find a gem like this and now all I want to do is buy more!!
  6. Well, I just got my first Golden Age Detective in the mail today. I think it just might be my new favorite book!
  7. Thanks for the glowing kudos Justin! Glad to be here, glad to start selling here and glad to start making new relationships here. Thanks for the sweet logo, might need to use that sometime!
  8. Just got my X-Men 129 CGC 9.6, yes the one that has disappeared from his sig line replaced with the FF 5..... Ridiculous packaging and super fast turnaround. Thanks again Justin and hope to deal again!
  9. Did the market suddenly decide they prefer that to #18? Or are the market buyers too dumb to know the difference. Apparently so. I have a few 18's and actually pulled a few 17's the other day out of my LCS's dollar bins. Am I missing something?
  10. Wow ! That is quite the jump. I guess that covers all the GotG first appearances ? You never know, Pip and Moondragon could make a guest appearance GoTG is gonna push a ton of books through the roof for the next 6-12 months. Guess it's time to get on the train and sell. I think after the movie, a lot of books are gonna fall hard. IMHO
  11. Wayne is the man.......REALLY! Got a BB29, Spector 1 and SW8 all slabbed and at a ridiculous price!!! Not to brag on this guy, but I have seriously never received better packaging...ever. All books were individually bubble wrapped and plenty of stuffing on top of that. Thanks again Wayne and glad to have been your first buyer. Hope to deal with you again in the future!!
  12. Quick payment on a couple of my books. No worries with this guy and I hope to deal with him again in the future!
  13. So far I'm loving it, but Chew has me fascinated. I only have the first 34 books , but all 60 of YTLM on my ipad. Maybe I'll start reading through them today??!!
  14. Thanks again for the mystery box. Hope to see you offering them up again in the future!!
  15. Yup, I have all copies downloaded and am only on the 6th book. It seems every time I start a new book I have to go back a bit to see what the heck is going on with the character turns and plot twists. On the same note, being in between catching up with Chew and a few books into Y Last Man, it's hard to want to read this. All thought I will, it just seems my interests are with better stories, but I really want to like it......
  16. Thanks crnbrd for helping me out with my first sale. Hope to deal with you again either way in the future!
  17. Ok, so let me make a quick post on my behalf if I may. So obviously I'm new here and with that comes a little bit of a learning curve. I've bought a lot of books recently and have watched as new sellers constantly get bashed when they don't do it quite right. I haven't really been bashed yet, thank God, but being a new seller can be a daunting task! I have studied how to sell correctly and I honestly thought I had all my t's crossed and i's dotted. When it was moved I was a little shocked since Dale's thread has mixed books as well. I also understand that he is a seasoned veteran and with that comes leeway. And lastly I totally feel where your coming from. You've been here for awhile, know how things should and shouldn't go and are totally justified getting perturbed with new boardies mucking it up from time to time....... So I really thought I was doing it right by putting the correct books into the correct threads. As far as the freebies, I thought that would be fun and draw people in. The TT44 was happily claimed as was the Silver Spider-Man. I promise I'm trying to do things right and I can also promise I only make mistakes once. I'd also like to thank a few seasoned members who have been very helpful with me and trying to keep me on the road to doing things correctly!!! I've had a great time here so far, have some fun budding relationships already and I hope to become a valued member of this society. I sincerely apologize if I didn't get it quite right the first time and I promise to do a better job next time. - Drew
  18. Not sure exactly where it should, but I agree, that sounds like an excellent idea for sure!
  19. Thanks Peter. I was pretty fortunate to get the Hulk piece direct from Josh before he passed. He was working on another commission for me, but it never got finished. Shoot me an offer...You never know! I've got a similar story. We last met up at the Cincinnati Comic Expo last year. I had dropped off 3 blank sketchcovers for him to do: Wolverine, Hawkeye, and the Hulk. He got started on the Wolverine piece and wanted to put more time into them and asked if he could take them home and mail them to me. I agreed. Unfortunately, he passed a few months later. At Gem City Comic Con this last year, I met up with his wife and she gave me my two blanks back along with the unfinished Wolverine piece. She told me it was the "second to last piece of art he ever worked on". It was definitely a sad meeting. She had a stamp made of his signature and she stamped it for me. CGC got the dates wrong on it, but I don't really care. I really loved Josh's art and he's sorely missed. RIP. Hey Peter, I was finally able to get my hands on my very own Medors SS. This thing is sick in person!
  20. Thanks guys, can't wait for the awesome books!!!
  21. I'm not suprised at the 20 second jump in price, especially given the prices 9.8's have been selling for over the last month or so! IMO, anything under $900 seems like a pretty good deal....at least this month!
  22. So is it just me or are prices already starting to level off. On eBay a 9.8 SS just ended at $860 and a 9.6 ended at $350......
