  1. It is selling for more than cover. The ashcan is going to make things confusing for people that don't know much about comics and just look at the sold prices because it looks exactly the same in a listing picture. It was a good read. The first few pages I was not into it, but wow did it take a turn!
  2. People that are trying to complete sets only have so many buying options. There are many books that sell for ridiculous prices because of low census numbers.
  3. Oh no, there's more where that came from, ha. Lot 1 - 20 Lot 2 - 20 Lot 3 - 30 What's odd this they have 44 listings, but only two types of products. Jeff Koons items and Outcast items.
  4. Yea, I was watching this one because I saw it getting pretty high. https://www.ebay.com/itm/SPAWN-174-175-GUNSLINGER-SPAWN-PART-1-amp-2-BOTH-IN-NEAR-MINT-CONDITION-/333106902478?nma=true&si=pSm8RTdW%2Bz8fojfen%2BQmTf6v2FQ%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  5. They had one for Canada. It has a different theater logo on it. Can't find a picture now buy maybe on of our Canadian boardies can post it.
  6. FOC is Monday. Still plenty of time if Marvel has allowed for store variants for this book.
  7. That's Grimm Knight #1. Maybe you are thinking of Tec #1000 and their 80+ covers? https://www.comicburst.com/blog/detective-comics-1000-complete-cover-checklist/
  8. That's first to market. There will be plenty more options.
  9. Saw Fist of course! (wtf, had no idea that was a real thing.)
  10. I have it and I didn't get the email. Probably because my backup if the account is empty is my bank account. Not sure why you would have a debit card backed up by a credit card. Why not just use the credit directly? FYI, the PP business debt is great because you can use your PayPal funds just like a bank account at a comic store or wherever.
  11. That should not change the grade. Same as a bindery tear.
  12. 1. This has been happening for a while now, along with horrible cover rub. This is for everyone across the US. 2. Why can't you get them graded?
  13. Thanos #13 variant 9.8 sells for about $700. The thread was based strictly on value.
  14. For any ho-hum book sure. But as I said before, if it's a big book / hard to find, people will find a way to bid on it. For instance, the last Batman 608 RRP 9.8 that went to auction ended at 11:45 PM EST and commanded the same price as the BIN that the boarded just sold. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Batman-608-CGC-9-8-Jim-Lee-Retailer-Incentive-Edition-RRP-Variant-Hush-Joker-/283339976460?hash=item41f860ef0c%3Ag%3ANe4AAOSwnKFcPTdM&LH_Auction=1&nma=true&si=pSm8RTdW%2Bz8fojfen%2BQmTf6v2FQ%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  15. Just depends on the book. The variant was sought after when it came out and was easily double ratio then. Just a simple ratio of very low supply vs. demand.
  16. Was selling for $300-400 raw in December. https://deadline.com/2018/11/spiderwoman-movie-spiderman-sony-pictures-bek-smith-amy-pascal-1202509718/
  17. It was well known that #3 was going to be the first issue of the daughter of Wolverine. Had less to do with the cover of the first issue and a lot more to do with when it was released. Also, it was also not usurped by a surprise "cameo" in some other issue with is a common occur ace these days. It's the definitive first appearance.
  18. The "if" was not in relation any one show. It was a statement as to if a show is good or bad that can change the values after.
  19. I disagree, and Umbrella Academy is my proof! If the show is good, the demand CAN build. Not that it will, but it can. And of course, there is TWD. I find it odd that UA has increased in price even though all the shows were released at once and Deadly Class, released weekly, has not seen that increase.
  20. Thanks, appears I didnt have to post in General for a little reaction.
  21. Yea, like completely going 90 degrees on the comic. I can't imagine why it's being received well, ha. On the high level view it's the same. But, let's get away from that as we know most that watch these shows haven't read comics. We have to assume it was made a show because of the comic. Not because Seth Rogan pitched this garbage -script with a decent budget and and actors that was made a show.
