  5. Welcome to my spring cleaning mixed sales thread (first one in mixed), there will be many raw and some CGC comics, trading cards, toys, some games, video games, art and other items going up for sale. There is no theme to this thread what-so-ever. This will be a longer running thread as I have quite a bit I'd like to sell if possible. 1st unconditional in the sales thread wins over all else. In the event we both agree to deal via PM it is YOUR responsibility to post "take per PM" in the thread. If someone sneaks a take it before that happens you are SOL, sorry. When you take something in the thread either quote the item, or explicitly spell out what you are taking. A response of "take it" after I post an item is not sufficient. Payment via check or PayPal and within 7 days of an invoice being sent unless we agree beforehand to another payment method or timeframe. This thread will be open a while, so any invoices won't be going out soon, unless requested. Shipping - In the States only - if you pick up a few raw books and the TOTAL weight is under 1 pound I CAN use a Gemini mailer and send first class if you wish. Going this route will be $5. I tape the books to a thick piece of cardboard and put a slice of bubble wrapping on top before taping the mailer up. Anything 1 pound or greater or CGC books, games, toys are going USPS priority at a flat $12. If you buy 10 books it's going to cost $12, if you buy 100 books it's going to cost $12. If you are international and wish to buy let me know and I'll need to figure out shipping but will be happy to split the baby down the middle on cost. I will gladly take returns within 30 days of receipt of the item(s). Shipping at your expense unless I am at fault for something, i.e. missing restoration or the like. No one on the probation list or HOS may participate in this thread. I encourage anyone on the PL to make things right with the aggrieved party and get back in good standing with community. First sale in mixed but have been buying and selling on the boards for a minute. Thank you.
  6. Of course, at your own risk, not responsible for loss of limbs or if you turn into a zombie... (Those are the WD secret lair MTG sets)
  7. Some serious spring cleaning coming up. I have a collectible "overflow" room in our basement that needs to be cleared out in the next several months in prep for a renovation. I have about 60 boxes of "extra" comics, some slabs, cards (sealed star wars wax packs and others), toys, games etc. that need to go. I was going to split into multiple threads but want to give the mixed section a try. Hoping to start listing some things later today around 6-7pm and plan on adding as time permits over the coming days/weeks/months.
  8. Thanks for the input. I'm guessing nothing earth shattering is there but if time permits will do some research on individual cards. Thanks all!
  9. Found this in a box of junk we were about to throw out after cleaning out our basement. Not even sure where it came from. I'm mostly a comic guy so just trying to figure out if there might be anything worthwhile looking at here? There appears to be about 100 loose cards and another deck full with cards and an instruction manual.
  10. I had some cards I wanted to submit to PSA, would be a first time submitter, I couldn't even create an account on their site a few days ago, just a "couldn't create account and contact customer service" response. Tried 4 different times then threw in the towel.
  11. I heard Buzz runs undercover sting ops too so he gets my vote.
  12. Gabe Such an entertaining kid. Wasn't he also Bitcoinswami? I remember seeing his youtube channel way back when and he was making all crypto currency videos. Man, he may never have achieved getting his 1 million dollar comic, but if he had enough scratch to put into BTC he could be doing alright $$ wise. I felt bad for the kid and remember buying his ASM 101 "pink variant) (pink marker all over the cover) for like $50. Good times.
  13. Not a huge card guy, but I actually have some cards I'm planning on sending in for grading at some point. Honestly though I have never mailed cards before but plan on using a penny sleeve then put each in a more ridged card holder then cut 2 pieces of cardboard that extend beyond the borders, use painters tape to secure all four sides, then bubble wrap and put in a box. I'm sure it's not going to be the cheapest way but basically using the same method I use to ship comics. I've seen videos where people use bubble mailers which I personally would never consider using.
  14. Nice twist on what should have been a straight forward mea culpa. Thanks to the OP for making us aware of another gem on the boards.
  15. I’m happy the demand is strong and prices keep rising however even though I have disposable income to spend on collectibles I’ve sidelined myself from buying lately. The % increases have me a bit shell shocked at the moment.
  16. The nomination is actually the push the buyer needed to complete the deal within the 30 day rule, so respectfully the nomination was actually necessary.
  17. The intent of a nomination is to get someone to complete an agreed upon deal. So if the buyer is now stating he will pay for the book in the next couple of weeks within the acceptable timeframe based on the rules of the PL nomination the buyer should probably pull that book and await payment. What would happen if the book sold and the buyer decided to nominate the seller for refusing to hold the book according to the rules? Could the buyer potentially now put the seller up for a PL nomination or does the seller just forfeit the nomination? My head hurts with all these rules. People if you post an just pay for the friggin book!
  18. I agree this appears to be PL worthy however if the seller relists and the book is sold the nomination becomes a mute point and the buyer will not be added to the list. If the OP wants him added to the list he (unfortunately) needs to wait it out for the 30 days, dems the rulz.
