  1. I did, and after taking my books to the car and looking at all the tools out back, I went back in just to see what was left. He was picking through all the Superman books and putting most of them back.
  2. Yeah, I got nice high grade Master of Kung Fu, Kamandi, Swamp Thing issues, and some Star (Marvel) Comics.
  3. Sounds like Evansville last Sat. If it was, I was there and got 220 books. You're right, it was a pretty friendly chaos.
  4. Looking for an X-Men 1 in the 3.5 to 5.5 range with OW or better pages which presents well. Willing to pay over GPA for the right book. edit: Found one, thanks for all the offers!
  5. The two New Mutants books are more common.
  6. That one actually looks legit to me, it has the red web stamp on the back cover, McFarlane signed so many of these back in 1990 that some are sloppy but they all are signed in that area on Spidey's knee.
  7. I've read this a few times and can't figure out how this theft works, I'm sure it's right here in black and white but I still don't get it. If a comic is pulled up from your box and pushed back into your box (but behind a flap) isn't it still in your box and therefore still in your possession? You might not be able to see it but it didn't walk away with the crook, right? Or tell me what I'm missing here.
  8. I'll probably just leave it raw and as is. Someone wants to buy it and I may have a chance to upgrade so I was just trying to come up with a fair assessment.
  9. Thanks, I think so too. Especially after your back and forth with @James J Johnson, you guys had me starting to worry.
  10. Here's a closeup with some light reflection to highlight. In the Black box there is a color break beside the exclamation point and a little bit of a dark smudge out at the edge. Below the smudge, there is a bend that goes down into the light blue where there is a scuff which removes some color.
  11. Amazing Spider-Man #129 lays flat, nice gloss, healthy spine with both staples attached to cover and centerfold. Several minor issues like staple stress, slightly blunted corners, and reader's edge front cover about 1/3 way down.
  12. Yeah, the top edge of the front cover was stained and brittle and some pieces came off during cleaning and pressing.
