  1. Looking for Amazing Spider-Man 361 direct edition, graded 9.4 or 9.6 in the newest style CGC slab.
  2. Bumping this old thread since I'm about to send in a value submission and thinking about getting this cover slabbed as well. Any idea how CGC would label this since it's not a known variant? Maybe I should call them before sending it?
  3. I did, and after taking my books to the car and looking at all the tools out back, I went back in just to see what was left. He was picking through all the Superman books and putting most of them back.
  4. Yeah, I got nice high grade Master of Kung Fu, Kamandi, Swamp Thing issues, and some Star (Marvel) Comics.
  5. Sounds like Evansville last Sat. If it was, I was there and got 220 books. You're right, it was a pretty friendly chaos.
  6. Looking for an X-Men 1 in the 3.5 to 5.5 range with OW or better pages which presents well. Willing to pay over GPA for the right book. edit: Found one, thanks for all the offers!
  7. The two New Mutants books are more common.
  8. That one actually looks legit to me, it has the red web stamp on the back cover, McFarlane signed so many of these back in 1990 that some are sloppy but they all are signed in that area on Spidey's knee.
  9. I've read this a few times and can't figure out how this theft works, I'm sure it's right here in black and white but I still don't get it. If a comic is pulled up from your box and pushed back into your box (but behind a flap) isn't it still in your box and therefore still in your possession? You might not be able to see it but it didn't walk away with the crook, right? Or tell me what I'm missing here.
  10. I'll probably just leave it raw and as is. Someone wants to buy it and I may have a chance to upgrade so I was just trying to come up with a fair assessment.
  11. Thanks, I think so too. Especially after your back and forth with @James J Johnson, you guys had me starting to worry.
