I think the last batch was delayed a little as they had to order more "9.9" labels.

Did Omega Red show up in the Book of Boba Fett finale? Really need him to show up in something!

Likely not the right thread for this, but I thought I'd share a bit more detail on this batch. The following books were pressed: - 3 x Uncanny X-Men 164 - Spider-Woman 1 - 3 x X-Men 4 (my presser initially told me I shouldn't get these pressed as he likely couldn't get them to 9.6 or 9.8) Nothing else was pressed... I don't think you really need to press books that are extremely new. The Sensation She-Hulk 39 was a big gamble, not really worth grading if it doesn't come back a 9.8. It was a dollar bin find from a few years ago.

My 9/15 received modern batch just finished, happy with the results: - I didn't think asm annual 21 would be 9.8, just wanted to get them graded as I bought them off the rack when they came out when I was kid. They had bindery tears. - The xmen 164s are a little disappointing. Expected 9.2/9.4 with an outside shot at 9.6. - Really pleased with the xmen 4s, figured they were 9.4/9.6

A further update: Grades seem OK. I was aiming for 9.4 on average on these two batches and likely got that on average, so all good. The two batches shipped aren't mine (dad and brother's). Pleasantly surprised by the 10 unlimited punisher 1s we sent. Back in 2019 we sent 10 of the 20 that we thought were the 9.8 candidates. The 10 graded now, were not pressed (didn't really appear to have pressable defects). Getting some 9.8s out these is a surprise considering. Had another book come back as 9.4 with a small internal page tear... can't say I checked for that... and generally I would assume that would be from manufacturing? Oh well.

I also preordered 10 copies as I thought the cover looked great. I have 9 of these at CGC now 🙏 They seem to be holding their value fairly well.

It’s a picture of the encapsulation process with tons of customer books stacked. This is your bottle neck.

Uf4 is getting pretty hot again. Buy it nows picked off the last few days. Glad my two 9.6s didn’t sell at the last vcc.

Then probably 1 more month to get to the next stage after that.
