  1. I just got back from vacation and super surprised CGC hasn't said something. I get that they might still be investigating and don't want to tip hand until they are sure they got everything, but common doesn't take much to say "We know about this and are currently investigating, we will update when we are done". I have been trying to get myself up to date, do we know who this guy is yet? I know CGC has a bigger problem to deal with, but I want to know who this guy is and a list of every comic that has passed through his hands. I mean someone bought these comics, no one has come forward and said "I bought X and it came from this guy"?
  2. @agamoto Great work with "The $$$ and Hard work has already been done for you" this is the closest thing to a fingerprint for this guy that has been found.
  3. I was looking into the the seller, I don't want anything that went through his hands in my collection. Wasn't suggesting those submissions were reholders.
  4. Anyone notice this website: http://comicselect.com/ Not much here other than same store name. The whois is private.
  5. I have been looking through this to make sure I don't have any of these books and noticed a few things I haven't seen mentioned (I haven't read every post, just a lot): 1) He has been double selling these on eBay, same cert# sold week apart. Could be buyer didn't pay, or maybe he is shrill bidding... 2120143023 Sold 2023-11-21, 2023-12-05 4245731004 Sold 2023-10-19, 2023-10-31 4287881003 Sold 2023-10-17, 2023-11-14 2) Here are likely submissions made by seller. If he just re-holdered a single book you can't tell but some of these he submitted for in a batch, I would also check any of these books if you have. 4286817001 through 4286817004 4310701001 through 4310701008 4324007001 through 4324007007 4329914001 through 4329914006 4341610001 through 4341610002 4343218001 through 4343218005
  6. This is exactly what I am doing, the question was more about if people would want a database where you enter in the cgc # and get back front and back photos of the slab.
  7. I have been trying to get better at grading, and have started a folder for each grade where I store front and back scans of CGC comics as I find them on the web. This got me thinking has anyone ever created a database of CGC scans? I think it might be nice to have a search box where you put in a CGC number just like validation, but you also get scans of the comic itself. I gather lots of people don't want their comics scanned, or on the web, because scammers can use them to trick others. However, every time someone sells a slab on eBay or Heritage they are posted for all to see. So the cat is mostly out of the bag. I think it would be useful to verify that the book you are buying matches what CGC graded beyond the barcode. Anyways curious if anyone knows of an existing database or would find such a thing useful?
  8. Had a very smooth 10k+ transaction with TC33. Would purchase from again!
  9. Got the book back today and its a 6.0! Thank you everyone that helped me grade this before sending it in.
