  1. I suspect those are pretty tough to find, but... that price is crazy. They definitely are tough to find. Even the newest #1 is seeing some decent sales again after going cold for a bit. U need to pick some up for your Cons they will be easy sales. I do not need to pick up any more, I just need to figure out which book I stashed the regular #1s and Phantom #1s in. I actually cleaned out the two LCSs that had them when they came out and I could flip the book for a quick double on eBay. "Zombie" "Tramp" was kind of a no-brainer from the get-go . . . what's not to like??? As FBS said, the only trouble was finding them. I have been picking up copies of the first series, as well as the Action Labs Mini and ongoing series. These are easy flips without a doubt. A long the same lines, early Cavewoman and Tarot Witch of the Black Rose are usually quick flips when I can find them. The books are usually looked at as "perv books" at most of my local shops, but they sell really well and I will take an easy flip on a "perv book" any day. I picked up 1-3 of the original series off the wall at a shop and the owner said he never thought he would "get rid of those books" I told him I would happily have taken more if he had them and after the transaction was complete told him what they went for. I brought this book up in Feb of 2015 and nobody even responded to my post. Y'all are late to this party! Issue 1 was 350 back then. The creator had a lot of information about which issues were true first print, as he sold at least two different versions of issue 1.
  2. I should mention that this was going right into my PC. I managed to snag the black and white 1-store copy of 115 and its hanging proudly on my wall.
  3. I was first in line in 5 degree weather at my local store, asked right away for the sketch 150, and they said it was already being held for someone else. On one hand, that seems like a crummy thing to do. First come, first serve! On the other, offering rare comics to store-favorites is understandable. What are your guys takes on this? Holding htf comics for people over letting them just go to whoever grabs it first.
  4. I have a few fun things to add, mostly odds and ends, but some of my favorites: - The original TPBs that were printed in color (still my favorite way to read these issues) - The "karate" books that are mostly stupid, but still kinda fun - Anything Goes #5 (DAT COVER) - The Viking Heroes/Turtles TPB - Challenges mini TPB by Michael Dooney (simply amazing) Thinking about this stuff has brought back some good memories!
  5. investcomics has jumped the shark. They mention EVERY new comic, and then when one gets heat later say "YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST FOLKS" baloney.
  6. Looks like those copies of The Oath #1 popped, just like I suggested a while back Of course it's for a completely different reason, but eh it counts
  7. Did anybody bring up Avengers 83 yet? Valkyrie may be in Thor: Ragnarok. Also it has a sweet cover.
  8. It seems like all these Marvel covers are being done by JTC. I wonder why? I think his art is fine, but nothing special. Let's see somebody else try! For example, the proportions of the spider Gwen one seem way off to me. Like those arms. Weirdddd
  9. A Borderlands movie has been annunced http://www.theverge.com/2015/8/28/9220215/borderlands-movie-being-made Not sure if either of the IDW series will see an uptick, but its something to keep an eye out for.
  10. Still no preview of 145. Aren't they usually out by now?
  11. I guess if she goes by Night Nurse ever in the movie, then it would be like the first appearance of Carol Dancers vs first appearance of Ms. Marvel. Of course it would be nice to have either firsts Am I the only one who thinks that the prices for The Oath might go up as she is actually interacting with Doc Strange? In the older titles it seems like there weren't superheroes.
  12. In Doctor Strange: The Oath. I never read, but that's what Wikipedia says. Unsure if its in the first issue or not. Since Night Nurse #1 is a little outside the casual spec price range, it seems that the Oath might be the way to go, especially if the character is in the DS movie.
  13. Night Nurse! in Doctor Strange? Buy dem copies of the oath!
