Saturday is showing up on my 10 day forecast now, still looking good. :wishluck:

Weather Channel put in a 40% chance of snow for Friday this morning. Saturday and Sunday look good with the exception of a 30% chance of rain on Sunday.  Still lots of time for all of this to change though! Still trending for temps in the 40s over the weekend, so that's some good news!

On the weather front, it’s looking like highs in the 40s and no precip on Thur-Fri at least. Let’s hope that’s the case all weekend. :wishluck:

So far so good on the weather front!  Still a ways out, but I will trade a chilly load in and Friday for a warmer Saturday/Sunday every time! Hoping that the precip holds off. Pulling a trailer on slick roads is not at the top of my list of things to do next weekend.

    Shameless self promotion warning......

I believe my booth number is 1614.

I will be bringing 30 boxes of Silver Age, 20 boxes of CGC books (maybe more depending on what gets shipped by then), 18 boxes of Golden Age, and my usual display books. Probably will work in a few cheap discount boxes from the collection I just picked up. Look forward to seeing everyone.

@mysterio we've got to work on our sources...  Hopefully we'll all have our #'s soon! @Dale Roberts I've got my eye on a book of yours, looking forward to seeing it in person!

We do it to confound people who are unfamiliar with google.

 Because the best marketing tactic is to be vague enough people have to actively search who the guests are/why they're relevant, as opposed to enjoying the excitement of a properly drafted announcement that clearly states who was just announced as a guest and why you should care...

I was just thinking about this again. Why isn't slicing the label off ok? We show raw books here all the time, and they are not CGC graded (obviously). Is showing another slab sans label really that different? As long as the book isn't being offered for sale, which would be a clear no-no, I'm not sure why chopping the label off would be a violation in a thread like this. Maybe I am being dense.

The whole concept seems rather "head in the sand"ish to me.  We all know these books exist.  Hell, most of us probably own some.  Probably not the proper venue for hashing it out, but a policy worth examining further, in my opinion.

I am starting to give up on that big  comic book name,  I am more concerned about what comic vendors will be there.  I got money to spend and more money if I can sell some funny books . . . .

Though I am excited for Adams, Azzarello, and Jurgens.

Chu, Darrow, Cho and Young are cool as well.

I did notice they have some names on their site that they have not announced.

I’m sure Dale will get some of my money. He usually does...

For 3 months between Jan and April I have one weekend that I'm committed to something and it's the weekend of this show. :pullhair:

So no I will not be at this show. :sorry:

I will say this is the St Louis Comic show I recommend comic fans should attend. Very well promoted and a great selection of comics. Just comics! No booths that don't belong at a comic show.

Sorry to hear that Leroy! It's crazy how often something like that happens!
