Yet YOU are investing in this? Don't you think(at your young age) you could be a tad smarter with the limited funds you have?

This is what I would do if I were in your shoes.

    1. I would find a job that I could be in as a career, not the in one week\ out the next.

    2. sign up for a company 401K program

now you have benefits (medical, dental, etc.)

    3. I would go to night school, either get your high school diploma or get a college degree.

This is a very manageable task to a better life for you, yet you want to always try the easy way.

Let me tell you there is no easy way. You have to earn your stripes in this world.

If you misunderstood me I am looking for a job, we don't have 401K we have RRSP and TFSA which I already checked into both and want no part in. I already have my high school diploma.

Part of me would be pissed he pulled a long game on us but most of me would be relieved it was someone doing something with themselves.

I've made this clear many times and I'll do so again. I'm not like you, I don't think like you, I'm willing to take risks. I am stubborn but I also admit to things I do wrong, everything has a learning curve and cryptocurrency is the next one but I don't mind it at all.

Nice book - I remember when you bought it and I thought you bought high but I bet you did pretty well with the Black Panther craze.

It's funny you mention that I wanted to cosign it at my local lcs but they turned it down because no was interested in it. But you know me I was stubborn and stuck to my guns and said I'll sell it myself. I listed it on eBay and sold it in four days.

How do you invest in something when you don't have any $$$?  You don't have a job, you have only sold a couple of books in three months...So, I ask, how do you afford to invest into anything, much less cryptocurrencies?

...What is your typical week like?

I invest whatever money I make by selling things and with cryptocurrencies, I don't need to have huge sums of money to invest into a crypto. Hmmm my typical week, Look for jobs, check out the cryptocurrencies I'm investing in, make youtube videos, stay up to date with crypto, chat with my friends, and sleep.

Currency has value because it is backed by a country or group of countries. The dollar is valuable because there is confidence that the US Government will remain stable. Cryptocurrency is literally backed by nothing. In a year Bitcoin went from a few thousand dollars to $20,000 to under $8,000. The most sophisticated investors in the world won't touch it. There's a reason why. It's a scam. It was never intended to be an investment vehicle, it was intended to be a method for conducting international buying and selling. Feel free to dabble in it; but its a massive mistake to do so.

Only those that don't do research would call it a scam. That said I'm confident in what I said before.

I read the first post and a few pages here and there in this thread. Your road leads to nowhere.

Get a job. A real job. Put your dream of selling comics on hold for now until you have enough money to start buying and selling. Nobody can make a living at selling comics, much less your lofty goal of selling a $million, at the rate you are doing. Not really any thing different than a lot of the advice in this thread.

So then tell me what do you think I've been doing with my time? Did you perhaps not read what I've said above as my update? You have your answer there.

    Ok, I'll bite.

    Are you currently employed?

If so, GREAT! What are you doing?   Have you moved out of your parents place?

If you are NOT employed, WHAT are you doing with your time?

Finally...What do you mean you have "gotten into cryptocurrency"?

Last we heard you had some money/tax troubles so seems weird a young guy with money troubles with the tax man would be dabbling in cryptocurrency.

    2c

No, I'm not employed. And by gotten cryptocurrency I mean I'm investing into it.

So you haven't sold a book in 3 months.  Have you been working?  Applying for jobs?  Doing something to improve yourself?

I sold a comic book which I will add later, I'm working on getting a family doctor, my disability tested,  and getting a job that will be best for me depending on those results.
