  1. Nah! And I really hope not! That was not my intention in the least, If anything I would expect CGC to adhere more strictly to first come, first served and not "we got a lot of convention books submitted last weekend"; which negates the FCFS statement.
  2. Please excuse my ignorance, that must be what I've seen previously.
  3. Should've said 'modern coupon', I have no idea what it is or for that matter a 'magazine sized coupon.' I've seen previous boardies make remarks about both types of coupons, but I have no idea how they were obtained.
  4. UPDATE: -Just called -Given an explanation that a 15 day coupon is 'implied' as an estimation of 15-30 days, even though it isn't clearly stated "expressed" on any webpages or express/limited warranties and not clearly marked as 30 days under the 'current turnaround for a Col Soc Coupon.' -I asked that if the books aren't completed and marked as shipped within this 'implied but not clearly denoted' 30 day time, if compensation would be made in the form of another 15 day standard coupon or at the very least a 15-day modern coupon. -Was told again that even though current turnaround states 15 business days, its still an estimation at best. -I stated under their "Guarantee and Exclusion of Warranty/Limitation of Remedies" if I should enact said clause:"If you wish to notify CGC in writing within 5 days of the time that you become aware of the facts giving rise to such remedy" in the "Infringement of it's services" that a contractual business obligation not being met (even under the implied 30 days at most estimation) falls under false advertising under Florida State Law. -Placed on hold -Was told that my books would be graded and marked as shipped within the 15-day time frame and assured that my books will go out to me safely handled and graded properly next week. *background* - I write and enforce legal contracts between my fiber-optic/telecom firm and multi-million dollar companies such as Verizon, AT&T, Qwest, Clearwire, Infinera and United States SSA (social security administration.)
  5. Right there with ya! Verified 4/8 still waiting for movement. Here's a quote from yesterday that'll make you, well, less happy... Yep, I guess it's par for the course, really. Realistically, I shouldn't expect to see the books for at least 30 days given CGC's track record. But reasonably, shouldn't we expect a company that we all pay considerable amounts of money to, to carry out their end of contractual business obligations and adhere to certain time constraints to provide services paid for in a timely manner? If not a penalty should be paid or compensation should be made commensurate to the amount of value not delivered. If a 15-day Standard coupon isn't contractually fulfilled, another 15-day coupon should be given or at least a 15-Day Modern Coupon given for value not delivered. Any other business would be held liable for false advertising. Rant over. I'll just call them, make my concerns clear and give them the opportunity to rectify the situation. Likely to no avail.
  6. Col Soc Coupon 2 Golden Age 2 Silver Age Received 4/7 Verified 4/9 12 Business days so far with no movement, not counting the 18th as a con day. Based on others post's it seems that "15 day coupon" means "whenever the heck we want" coupon. Considering CGC just brought in two 'consultants' that won't be encapsulating (the bottleneck) I don't see their contribution benefiting to reduced turnarounds. Not to mention the HUGE conflict of interest of a 'consulting grader' being a dealer, regardless of the statement that "he won't be allowed to grade any of his own submissions", that's for another thread all together.
