  7. Immortal Hulk was really good recently. I read that entire run and don't really read moderns anymore. They're trying to push Fantastic Four again as well. I haven't had a chance to read the new run but have been hearing good things.
  8. I was just about to mention this. I looked at the character differently after that story arc.
  9. It comes down to this.. I'm not buying a product that is mediocre. Ever, if I can help it. If I purchase a product and it's terrible, and then purchase it again and it's terrible, I'm not buying it again until they change the product. The last great movie from Marvel was Endgame. Everything since has been Meh. I'm not spending 60 more dollars on a product that isn't proven (Price for me and my 2 kids to go to the movies - which is insane in itself). Now they change the formula and start churning out hits again I'm all in. Until then they have a lot to prove. I didn't wait all my life to experience mediocrity. I had that with superhero movies when I was a kid.
  10. The site has been terrible for years. Shocked they even have a big buyer following anymore. Most people don't want to lock up 5 digits on a gamble and would rather have a sure thing.
  11. Have you seen home prices recently? Also, have you tried to apply for a home loan lately? Hell, have you tried to apply for any loan lately? Good luck walking into a bank with $5-10k making $50-60k a year on a $416k home (median home cost in America).
  12. As they're calling Gen Z lazy and saying how they were able to afford some of the luxuries in life before their early 40's because of their hard work (which was working 9-5 Mon-Fri making $15+/hour in 1980 as their company gave them a 1:1 match for retirement). 🤦‍♂️
  13. The 1%. What I've noticed over the past year especially is the people that have it REALLY have it and the gap between them and those that don't is getting bigger every day.
  14. As mentioned earlier in this thread it comes down to personal preference. There are many dealers I would trust on grading and details about a higher end book more than I would CGC. I feel with the internet age most newer collector's have dealt very little with individuals in person and it becomes a disconnect between the buyer and seller. CGC has helped bridge that gap for your "average Joe" sellers but there are dealers throughout the country that still get graded prices or better for raw books because of their reputation.
  15. I'm talking about a major flaw with the book that was missed during the grading process. Not the grade that was assigned the book.
  16. If you get a still sealed universal CGC slab and decide to crack it to find either restoration, book is incomplete, or any other major flaw, who's to blame at that point?
