  1. absolutely agree with everyone's opinion here, these DC silver age books are so hard to find in decent grade, btw have you guys seen that detective #225 in cgc 8.0 on eBay it looks pretty nice, I'm thinking of upgrading my 7.0 copy.
  2. Being a silver age collector I tend to go for the books that are harder to find, and thanks to roulette44 I've acquired many from him, and even though it looks like showcase 4 has definitely gone up in demand and value thanks to the new TV show and the upcoming DC movies, lets go to the numbers: the lowest amount of CGC unrestored copies has to go to Detective #225 here are the numbers. Unrestored Copies as per the census Tec #225 - 150 copies SC #4 - 241 copies BB #28 - 642 copies Hulk #1 - 854 copies AMF 15 - 1,531 copies
  3. SC4 are a lot more rare than Hulk 1s, as per the census atleast... I'm glad I got my 3.0 copy from Joey last year.....
  4. I also sent the seller a few questions, and he replied very quickly, he seemed like a legit ebayers. It def looked like a 3.5-4.0 copy but maybe with a press & dry cleaning the book may get a 5.0 who knows...
  5. wow cgc 8.5 white amazing looking copy.....
  6. I agree Boba, it's fun watching these auctions but at the same time one has to be extremely careful and watch out for these filthy scammers preying on our hobby.
  7. You're right Joey, I hope this seller is honest in regards to the SC4 sale on eBay, I have personal experience in getting scammed with crooked ebayers, thanks to Joey though my horrible experience has been put to rest thanks for the Superman #2 book it is amazing to own that book.... kudos my friend..... Izzy

  9. What else can be said about Joey except that he's the BEST, I recently acquired a very nice CGC 4.5 copy of Golden Age Superman #2 I couldn't be any happier as I was victim of an eBay scam 2 years ago with this exact same book and now my search is complete. Thanks a million Joey....... http://s1078.photobucket.com/user/israeln1638/media/Superman%202_zpsq7ugndfb.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0
