Hi All - I’m back on the forums after an unplanned hiatus. Miss the boards and the great posts. Still in love with my cherished copy. wondering if anyone could elaborate on why the 4.0s have come down a bit over last three years where 5s and 6s kept an upward trend? Assuming the spike in 2017 was Homecoming and Civil War driven? Is it most 4s have chipping? Just curious what folks think.

Wow - pretty pricey at this point. Starting to think CGC wants to cap their volumes - 65 bucks plus all the shipping and insurance for me to get a silver age book graded not sure I'm going to rush my next stack off that fast.

For me it's the cloth element of his suit. It should be painted on or something more synthetic like.

I unfortunately purchased an ASM 129 from this seller before finding this thread. Book was listed as a 9.2 but sold at a 7.0 price. I plan to sub it but haven't yet. Too late for any type of refund so this can serve as my lesson learned. Will post results here at some point. Unfortunate as I like purchasing SA and BA raw books and not a lot of options for me to do so.

thread went quiet (and maybe a bit off track) so i thought a good time to punch my ticket 28 year mission finally completed that line across Spidey's groin is a bad scratch on the slab - the rest are the book's charm... i love the wrap, i love the no chipping, and the PQ... wish the staples were more centered and a little less action in the title area, but this felt right when i saw it...

Does anyone store high value slabs in a safe deposit at the bank? My banks biggest drawer is 11"x12" so slab won't fit. I wonder if it's this particular branch?

The one that makes me chuckle is that 'Adam West' skin. Talk about your badazz. Not that it doesn't look good, but daaaamn. Burgess Meredith would wet himself. Ok that is awesome. This version needs to hit a quad machine.
