  1. My TMNT 1 2nd print I bought in 2019 was in a cracked case (when I bought it) The inner well was moving around inside the case, the front of the slab was almost completely cracked. I submitted it for rehold when I got back from my deployment I was on and it came back no issues and didnt have to be re-graded.

    Welcome!

Are you just looking for keys, or hoping to put together a run?  Planning on reading the stories, or hunting slabs?  Focusing on Silver Age, Bronze Age, Copper / Modern Age, or all of the above?  Lots of happy hunting to be had depending on your answers.  :)

Thank you! Right now with my upcoming PCS to Korea, and move after my tour there, I'm not looking to much into runs at the moment. Keys and Silver age would be my first focus I would say. Also any with great Punisher covers as I'm also a big fan of him.

  3. Just wanted to pop my head in here. I've recently come back to reading and collecting and picked up marvel for the first time since 2014 and have fallen in love with Daredevil. I'm hoping to join the ranks of collecting him very shortly. Any recommendations on what to look for? I've been so Flash focused for the past 6 years that I've overlooked so many other things. My flash collection tends to be low-mid raw/graded. Would be looking at that same area for DD.

One of my Bill Sienkiewicz books was delivered today. The Moon Knight #1 . He did most of my request. (Green and sketch placement.  ) The Signature he placed in the same area of the sketch vs my ask.

That said CCS definitely shifted the cover in press as now you can see the right side of the pages vs what my original pictures were and they didn't quite get the back slight roll near the spine.

Came in on the lower side of my estimate, but with the few issues I see,  1 tic and some color rub/transfer( probably from the original stack) on the back still happy with the 9.4 but kinda surprised at the OW/W PQ...

All in all happy with this one. Can't wait to see the other two.

I purchased this issue from Quality Comix:

To me, this issue fits the phrase, "It presents better than its grade." Most of the damage is on the back. I wish that piece wasn't missing from the front cover, but I am very satisfied with this issue.

I'm down to my last two Rogues: Showcase #13 (first appearance of Mr. Element) and Flash #139 (first appearance of Professor Zoom, the Reverse Flash).

Congrats on such an awesome pick up. As you said, it presents so well. That right now is my top Grail to get as I know I wont be able to afford a copy of Showcase 4 anytime soon.

I could well and truly live with that paper pull on the bottom. The rest presents very well indeed. Often that white area around the hand has foxing. Very nice bright colours. Just think Mr. Element and RF - hmmm 147 !! (nice coincidence)

I totally agree, that i'd take that book looking like that regardless. That bottom is so minimal to how well it looks overall.
