  1. Hi. Mostly lurker but some thoughts here... I think a lot of people are in wait and see mode on purchasing many bigger books or books which may have traveled through circles which the alleged scammer operated with. The problem is that so many sales are though venues which are not reported online that it's going to take a while before people have a better grasp on how many have been impacted. Now if I had books which I bought on the open market similar to the ones on the list, I would be concerned depending on where they were purchased and when. Many of the books I have purchased are so off the wall that I'm less worried than most. As for CGC, I think they are doing what they can, not knowing anything more than I do right now. So many people on Youtube are clanging the hype train that it's hard to sort the noise from the facts at time.
  2. Jon Sable was a great action series. Mike Grell did a fantastic job with it. There are parts which don't hold up as well 30+ years later but it's interesting to note the gay dancer in it who is a bit stereotypical but well written for the 1980s. Plus there was Maggie the Cat!
  3. Very interesting sale here. That series has been ice cold for a while. I just recently finished my run of the series and people were heckling me for trying to complete it,

  5. I finished some major collecting goals this year, so next year will be interesting. My run of Wonder Woman from 178-327 was completed along with Deadly Hands of Kung Fu and most of the Avengers from 100-300. I also finally finished Mandrake and Flash Gordon from King Comics. I'm going to see what other Black and White Magazines I can find as well as working on my Phantoms from Gold Key, King, and Charlton. Any chance I have to pick up nice Charltons or Dell/Gold Keys at affordable prices, I'll take it.
  6. He received the name Threkker and appeared in Quasar and Starbalst
  7. I loved this book as a kid and even though I'm not a huge Captain America fan, this issue always stood out. It's amazing that this villain hasn't been used much as he gave Captain America a good fight. He didn't seem that impressive when he was brought back with other unknown space villains in StarBlast mini series.
